4.不要问及考官的个人或公司的隐私(Private matters)

但是，作为应试者，千万不要向考官提问他(们)的个人情况，尤其不要触及到人家的家庭、收入、具体职位等方面的隐私。向考官询问私人问题，会招致很大的反感，因为世界很多文明的人们都很忌讳别人打探自己的隐私。至于船东公司的情况，如果考官请你提些问题，你还是可以问的;如果没有明示你可以提问的话，也尽量少问。其实，你想了解的关于考官、你的工资和福利待遇、船东公司，甚至要上的船的大致情况，几乎外派公司都可以在面试以外的时间向你提供，你绝对没有必要在船东面试你时向船东提问。

另外，也尽可能不要问及考官所代表的公司的隐私。船东公司的隐私包括该公司所雇佣的其他国籍船员的工资水平、公司是如何应对ITF的、公司其他业务如何、公司的资金状况如何。当然，如果考官主动向你介绍这方面的情况并欢迎你提问题的话，你还是可以提问这方面问题的，但是，最好不要是特别敏感的问题，也不要占用人家太多的时间，因为船东面试时本来就很累，何况有很多船员在后面焦急地等待呢。其实，外派公司会在这方面了解很多。如果你真的很好奇，或认为这些信息涉及到你的个人利益，你可以向外派公司询问这些情况。

5.注意自己的肢体语言(Body Language)

所谓肢体语言是指人的肢体动作所传递的内心的想法或精神状态。在面试中，肢体语言也就是面试者的动作和举止。观察应试者肢体语言是考官考察面试者心态及性格特点的一个非常重要的方面。在面试时，应试者应该正确使用肢体语言来和考官沟通。这包括：用点头的方式让考官明白你听懂了他的问题或对考官的见解表示同意;用微笑的方式表示你对考官的善意以及你一直在认真倾听考官的问题;适当地在椅子上向前欠一下身(或者向考官挪近一点)来表示你非常专注，并对问题非常感兴趣;偶尔用手势来强大你讲的某件事或某个观点。但是，上述肢体语言的使用过程中，切勿矫枉过正。

下面一些肢体语言被视为不雅的行为:身体扒在桌子上或过分前倾、衣服口袋里叮当作响;手指在桌子上敲，或胳膊在扶手上动;摆弄自己的头发、首饰或手表等;揪耳朵、胡子或鬓角等;翘二郎腿;面部神经抽动;在椅子上摇晃个没完没了;目光在室内不停地扫视;心神不定地摆弄衣服;来回擦嘴、鼻子或嘴与鼻子之间的位置;绞扭双手、摆弄手里的东西或指甲;咬抓耳挠腮;抓弄手指等等。为了保证自己在面试时有正确的坐姿和身体语言，面试前练习非常必要。所谓面试前练习，就是你自己表演，让另外一个人来评判你的表现和动作，并提出他个人的意见，以便你作出矫正。在面试练习检查中，既要注意查找绝对不能出现的动作，也要明确地找到你要使用的肢体语言。肢体语言的成功运用，会使你看上去专心、热情且粉肠重视考官的面试。

6.幽默风趣

无论在什么背景下，幽默风趣的人总会左右逢源、得心应手。对于船东面试来说，幽默风趣尤为重要。因为绝大多数考官都来自千里之外的不同国度，在异国他乡，听到一些幽默风趣的话语，会使他们消除出差的劳累和工作的紧张。比如，国外某船东问某一年轻实习生：

Are you married? Why do you want to be a seaman? (你结婚了吗?为什么你想当一名海员?)这本是一个看上去非常严肃的问题。

该实习生答到：

No,not yet .But I have got a girlfriend. I won’t marry until I finish one-year working on board. Money can make me more handsome and attractive to my wife .That is why I want to work for a year and get some money before I marry my girlfriend. (意思是说：我还没有结婚。但我有个女朋友，我要等到完成一年的合同后再结婚。金钱能使我对女友来说更加美丽和富有吸引力，所以我要上船上工作赚钱。)

当然，幽默也要有度，不要随意和考官开玩笑，这很重要。

7.面试中“二戒”(Two Mustnots)

一戒逞强好胜、言辞激烈、耍小聪明。有的船员一入面试场所无拘无束、神采飞扬，处处显示比别人高一等，好象什么问题都难不倒的样子。不管人家考官愿不愿意，主动上前握手，然后四平八稳地就坐;或对考官提出的问题表现出轻蔑不在话下的神情，回答问题时总喜欢带上一些诸如：“I thind…”或“Yes ,I know,I know.”“No problem.”之类的口头禅，不管对错均夸夸其谈。本来有些问题自己确实不知道答案，却故作聪明，东拉西扯乱讲一通，宁可答跑了题而不愿意做个老实人。有的甚至和考官争得面红耳赤。这样不但可能会闹出笑话，还可能会让考官觉得你为人飘浮，虚多于实，性格激动，多血质，也会认为，你对面试和考官提的问题干脆就不重视。其实，表现如此的人实际工作和生活中很容易和别人发生冲突。

还要提醒的是，在回答问题时，尤其是除了船长、轮机长以外的职位，问题也不要太尽善尽美，船东有时会认为，太聪明、太理性化的人是无法在船上干活的。

面试中的自我介绍属于工作式自我介绍的一种, 面试者在准备的时候一定要把握介绍的社会性特征, 不能仅局限于自我的展示, 列举一些与所应聘工作无关的内容, 笔者曾担任过地方公务员面试的考官, 在面试中有的考生在回答“为什么应聘该职位”时, 说因为自己新婚不久, 父母的期待, 妻子的期盼, 养家的压力等原因让自己非常想得到这份工作, 把自己个人的家庭背景说得很详细, 却没有提及自己对该职位的认识, 这显然就有些偏颇。在面试介绍中一定要围绕所应聘的工作和职位来思考问题, 所以在面试准备阶段, 首先要思考的问题就是自己具备哪些特点和竞争优势, 所应聘的工作需要哪些能力和素质, “知己知彼方能百战不殆”。其次要明白自己的能力与工作要求之间是否匹配, 在回答问题时要选择性地呈现自己的优势和特点。

面试过程中要注意的问题中最重要的就是要善于应变。《曾宪梓传》中披露了一个鲜为人知的面试中应变的事例。曾先生在公司招聘时, 故意把扫地的扫把放在办公室的门口, 并且让它倒在一边。一天面试下来扫把时而被一些面试者漠视, 时而被另一些面试者扶起。面试的结果是曾先生录用了那些各方面条件合适并且主动将倒在地上的扫把扶起来的人。曾先生认为, 没有扶起扫把的人肯定是两种情况:一是不灵敏, 不会为他人考虑;二是懒, 举手之劳也不愿付出。这个例子中曾先生考察的其实就是应变能力, 还有工作的态度。

还有一个例子也很能说明问题, 著名营销专家孙路弘在一次电视招聘中, 指出第一位面试者对自己姓名的介绍只有一句“我叫××”, 过于草率。他在点评时说:“当一个人让你介绍自己的时候, 这是你的最佳销售时机。一个面试官一天面试了几十个人, 他能记住谁的名字, 谁就有胜出的可能。我叫孙路弘, 孙, 孙子的孙, 孙中山的孙, 孙猴子的孙, 孙悟空的孙;路, 路线的路, 路上的路, 马路的路;弘, 弘扬中华文化的弘。您要实在记不住, 我还有一个艺名叫孙子。”这之后出场的第二位面试者就具备了灵活应变的能力, 他在介绍时强调了自己姓名的由来, 他说, “我叫段啸林, 我以前的名字叫段林林, 这个名字听起来比较像女生的名字, 我在上五年级的时候, 老师分宿舍把我分到5楼, 我一看5楼没有男生宿舍, 女生宿舍在5楼。所以后来我就改了一个男性化的名字叫段啸林。”他的介绍虽然不够尽善尽美, 但达到了加深印象的目的, 专家最后评价认为成功的几率超过50%。

面试中语体的规范也很重要。现代语言学认为, 语体是适应不同交际功能、不同题旨情境需要而形成的运用语言特点的体系。郭英德在《中国古代文体形态学论略》中也提出:“不同的文本语境要求选择和运用不同的语词、语法、语调, 形成自身适用的语言系统、语言修辞和语言风格, 由此而构成一种文体特定的语体。”作为面试中的自我介绍的语言风格也要根据具体的情境选择适合的语言系统和语言风格。如一位面试者在介绍时说:“我叫××, 以前毕业于××学校, 那个, 现在即将从××大学毕业, 专业是信息安全, 我导师是××, 然后, 我对信息安全有, 比较, 非常, 热爱它。然后我从事过这方面的研发工作, 在研究生期间做过很多工作, 然后曾经在公司实习过吧。然后, 对工作非常有热忱, 然后, 工作态度比较勤奋。没有了。”这样的介绍是混乱的, 没有经过思考和梳理, 想到哪儿说到哪儿, 语句的不连贯直接影响表达效果, “那个”、“然后”等连接词的不当使用也使表达失去了面试场合应有的严谨。另外, “做过很多工作”、“曾经实习过吧”这些模糊用语更增加了表达的不确定性。从而给人留下的总体印象就是紧张, 不自信, 不善表达。另外一种情况是, 有的面试者自信满满, 在回答问题时经常使用非常肯定的语气, 如主考官问:“以前做过这种自我介绍的准备吗?”答:“当然做过, 因为我是今年刚毕业的大学生。”这段对话中, 面试者回答“当然做过”显然不合适, 语气过于肯定, 透露出对所问问题的不尊重。而且, “当然做过准备”与是否是刚毕业的大学生不存在必然的因果联系。这种情况中语体的不规范, 让人觉得面试者过于骄傲, 不具备很好的沟通能力。这两种情况都是不可取的。

面试中的自我介绍作为口头表达的一种, 它与书面的自我介绍有很大的不同。我们要始终记住, 面试不是独角戏, 是面试者与考官, 有的还是面试者之间的双向交流, 不论哪种情况, 都是人与人之间的沟通, 面试中眼神的交流, 态势语的交流, 情绪的交流都是很有必要的。除此之外, 回答考官的问题时也要有良好交流即互动。互动是相互作用中使彼此发生变化的一种双向交流方式。面试者回答问题一定要根据考官设定的前提、依据或情境来谈, 不能只注重展示自身的优势, 忽略了互动的重要作用。如这样一个案例, 主考官说:“你是学法律的, 我们公司的一个法律顾问刚离职, 文件都要交接了, 没人接。你先做个自我介绍吧。”面试者说:“主考官好!我叫××, 我想从三个方面来简单介绍一下我自己, 我在大学期间得过学校的优秀学生, 也得过各种学生干部的奖励。学习成绩一直稳居我们班级前十, 得过三等奖奖学金。我所做的论文《××××》参加国家挑战杯论文大赛得过国家三等奖, 北京市特等奖。并且经历了三年的学生会工作经历。总之, 我觉得大学四年铸就了我踏实的工作作风, 希望能为贵公司做出更大贡献。谢谢。”这个例子中面试者注意到了面试的礼仪, 注意到了语体的规范, 表达也有一定的逻辑性。但是恰恰是忽略了互动, 使他的面试失败了。他没有根据主考官问题中设定的“公司缺法律顾问, 工作无人交接”的情境去重新整合自己的介绍内容, 而是原封不动的把自己事先准备好的自我介绍重复了一遍, 起到了相反的效果。面试时一定要注意, 回答问题的针对性, 不能自说自话, 只片面地强调自身的优势, 要注意回应对方的提问内容。

有人说,求职面试的头5分钟最关键,也有人说是否被录用取决于面试头60秒的表现。如何在面试开始的1～3分钟时间内消除紧张情绪,胸有成竹地展示自己的优秀品质,浓缩自己的人生精华,给招聘者留下美好的第一印象,从而把自己完美地推销出去呢?这个问题值得每一位毕业生深思熟虑。

面对招聘者要求“请谈谈你自己”、“请作一下自我介绍”的问题,必须准备一小段推销自己的“广告词”。因为语言是人的第二张名片,可以客观反映一个人的文化素质和内涵修养。

1.自我介绍的基本内容

(1)姓名、年龄、籍贯、毕业学校、专业、主要课程;

(2)专业特长、课余爱好、个人优点、个人缺点;

(3)家庭状况、人生信条。

2.自我介绍的基本要求

(1)文字内容200字左右,也可以称为自我鉴定、自我评价等;

(2)口述时间3分钟左右,用普通话流畅陈述;

(3)内容客观、语言朴实,准确地表述自己、定位自己。

3.面试答题技巧

面试时回答问题是必不可少的环节,这也是毕业生最发怵的环节,笔者总结了以下技巧:

1.把握重点、简洁明了、条理清楚、有理有据

一般情况下,回答问题时应先将自己的中心意思表达清晰,然后再做叙述和论证。否则,长篇大论,会让人不得要领,也浪费了有限的面试时间。因此说话简洁明了,直指核心,把复杂的问题简单化就成了必不可少的答题技巧。

2.讲清原委,避免抽象

主考官提问总是想了解一些应试者的具体情况,所以切不可简单地仅以“是”、“否”作答。针对不同问题,有的需要解释原因,有的需要说明程度。不讲原委、过于抽象的回答,往往不会给主考官留下具体的印象。面试中的绝大多数的问题都没有标准答案,只要言之有据,思路清晰,能够自圆其说即可。

3.确认提问内容,切忌答非所问

如果对主考官提出的问题,一时摸不到边际,以致不知从何答起或难以理解对方问题的含义时,可将问题复述一遍,请教对方以确认内容。对不太明确的问题切忌囫囵吞枣、答非所问,以致造成难以挽回的局面。

4.有个人见解,有个人特色

主考官每年都要接待成百上千的应试者,相同的问题要重复很多遍,类似的回答也要听很多遍。因此,主考官会有乏味、枯燥之感。只有具有独到的见解和个人特色的回答,才会引起对方的兴趣和注意。

5.在应聘中对主考官的问题要有问必答

语气要尽量保持肯定、客观,遇到自己不知、不懂、不会的问题时,回避闪烁、默不作声、牵强附会、不懂装懂的做法均不可取,诚恳坦率地承认自己的不足之处,反倒会赢得主试者的信任和好感。不要总是说“我不行”、“我不会”、“我不知道”之类的话,要表现出充分的自信,即使从未接触过的工作,也要沉着冷静,机智应付,可以说:“经过学习和锻炼,我一定能胜任这项工作”“我会努力干好”等。
