游进新时代

记得小学二年级学校就开设了游泳课，我没学会。身穿三角泳裤头戴塑料布轧制的泳帽站在浅水区，这是45年前的事情。我小学所在的二年四班人才济济，两位男生是天津人民广播电台童声合唱团的团员。升为三年四班，由四位男生组成的四乘五十米自由泳接力获得和平区小学年级组冠军。还有一位女同学获得五十米蝶泳冠军。天冷了，一位男生获得速滑冠军，多少米我忘了。我很羡慕那位女同学，一度萌生向她学习蝶泳的念头。
我的学会游泳，是在“文革”前夕的水上公园东湖，只学会不甚规范的蛙泳，野路子。天津大学青年湖水深，我去游了。两个同学一左一右护着我，很像如今学车的“陪驾”。说起青年湖，我至今记得那年隆冬时节的中共华北局书记处书记阎达开站在湖畔广场“做检查”。他身穿黑色制服棉衣戴着眼镜，检查只读到一半儿一大群天大“八·一三”红卫兵便高高举起标语牌，上面写着“阎达开的检查通不过！”
我成功横渡天大青年湖之后，大胆去第三游泳池“测红道”。如今学生们不懂什么是“测红道”，就是考取进入深水区游泳的资质。“测红道”过程并不复杂：你手持贴有本人照片的“游泳证”提出测红道的要求，然后跳进池里往返游水。不记得游多少米，反正救生员说行了，你就开始踩水。踩水时必须双手举出水面以示水性。通过了，救生员在你游泳证上盖一个菱形“戳子”证明合格。再去游泳时即发给你一条红色带子系在脖上———这是允许进入深水区的标志。那时候的事情往往比较规范，人们也比较遵守规范。
打从学会游泳我以淡水为主，也有海泳经历。记得十几年前参加黄山笔会路经太平湖候船，刘震云叶兆言苏童王干一群人立即下水游泳，还有赵玫。只有我和迟子建没带泳装，坐在岸上观阵。太平湖本名陈村水库，上海作家陈村当年在此插队落户，后来写作取了“陈村”笔名。他告诉我他姓杨。
我真正热衷游泳始于去年。主要是受到林希先生感召。我曾撰文称他为“老顽童”。年长我18岁的老顽童天天下水，我便从善如流也去游了。我首先规范了自己的蛙泳动作，之后便拾起当年想学蝶泳的旧梦，蠢蠢欲动了。
学蝶泳不容易，它几乎要求你变成一只海豚。经过一个多月练习我终于达到“扑腾”水平。游泳馆董教练主动借我一册游泳教材，我当时就遗失在更衣室里。于是愈觉得跟蝶泳无缘。想起单田芳先生“要想人前显贵，必得背后受罪”的教导，偷偷在家练习腰腿功夫。旱地练习造就的旱鸭子只能成为“全聚德”的原料，我的蝶泳仍然一派“溺水者”形象。
一天上网，无意之间在百度搜索引擎上敲入“蝶泳”二字，呼啦啦出来一大堆“蝶泳”。有文字教材，有泳友交流，还有动画和视频。我惊喜不已。“网”真是一个好地方。尤其蝶泳视频，有俄罗斯运动员的动作图解，也有国内泳友的自拍影像，还有奥运蝶泳冠军钱红的动作曲线分析。我撞进“蝶泳网友俱乐部”，认真研读一份份帖子。我由“蝶瘾”而“网瘾”，跨过纸书开始了上网学蝶泳的日子。天长日久理论指导实践，我在水里悄悄进步着。
我终于能够以“准海豚”的样子出现在水里了。有人问我怎么学会的，我回答说网上。很多不摸电脑的人表情惊异，也有人以为我在说笑。
科技进步，生活大变。以前游进网里的是鱼，如今游进网里的是人。我们日常生活里不可能的事情渐渐成为可能。我在网上学会蝶泳就是佐证。我不敢说上网能够学会开飞机，但我敢说上网天高地阔。
有一首歌儿叫“走进新时代”，我上网学蝶泳是“游进新时代”。
