一、大学生英文写作现状

英文写作是学生通过思考,运用语言知识进行再创造的过程。写作水平是反映一个人的语言掌握程度的一个重要指标。由于大学英语教学受到学时等条件的限制,英文写作一直是最为薄弱的环节。在大学英语教学环节中没有专门的写作教学,而且英文写作过程中缺少教师与学生的沟通和交流,造成学生对于英文写作的基本知识了解甚少,往往把汉语写作知识全盘搬到英文写作中,写出的文章带有许多结构和逻辑错误。而教师由于课时和精力的限制,普遍忽视对错误进行分析,从而影响到英语写作教学的质量,影响到学生英语写作水平的整体提高。

二、提高学生英文写作水平的方法

1. 提高写作中的谋篇布局能力

我在评定学生作文时,经常发现学生对于段落展开比较随意,没有规划和安排,所写的句子,就是他们说话的笔录。可以通过主位—述位结构的学习解决这一问题,这一结构也被称为主位推进。

教学上可以采用不同的主位推进模式,帮助学生能发现、理解、掌握句与句之间联系的规律。例如可以让学生将打乱顺序的句子按照要求的模式连接成段;或者在不同的句子中选择句子连接一个段落,使其发展符合某一主位推进模式;或者让学生按某一个模式来构建一个段落。

在掌握主位推进的基本模式之后,鼓励学生模仿运用多种主位交叉推进的模式,使段落的发展呈现出不同的语篇模式。通过语篇模式的分析和教学,学生发现和理解语段和语段之间联系的内在规律,之后能掌握规律,并且有意识地在规律的指导之下,依照一定的线索来发展语篇,写出结构合理、层次清晰、主旨明细的文章。

2. 强调过程学习在写作教学中的应用

过程写作法是由麦肯齐(Mckenzio)提出的英文写作教学理论和方法,其观点新颖而实用,受到教学界的瞩目,成为英文写作教学法的主流。该方法提出以交际理论为基础,以学生为中心,注重发展学生的思维、交际能力,强调内容的重要性。它认为,写作的实质是以英语为工具,去发现、澄清和挖掘意义,准确表达思想的复杂过程。

英文写作过程分为构思阶段、写作阶段时、修改阶段。在构思和写作阶段,教师应多鼓励学生收集资料和分组讨论,写出初稿,并初稿交给其他小组成员讨论。接着,学生阅读别人的意见和建议,反复斟酌与修改。此阶段可反复进行,直到同组人与学生本人满意为止。最后,学生交出作文给老师,老师提出中肯的改进意见,发还学生。学生再作修改,直到师生都认可再定稿。在各个阶段中,师生应加强沟通与交流,而教师则以读者的身份参与学生们的阅读,适时地提供建议,提醒学生运用写作技巧或告诉学生如何寻求更多的材料,来丰富内容,使文章更加有血有肉。

3. 注重英汉文化差异对写作的影响

由于文化差异,学生在英文写作中的出现的错误覆盖了遣词、造句和文章结构三个方面。

在词汇上,教师应在讲解词汇时,增加词汇语体色彩、结构属性方面的介绍,设法将特定词汇的讲解与相应的语境发生联系,尽量避免英语词汇与母语词汇之间直接建立联系,用已学的英语解释新词,并且把重点落在易发生负迁移的词汇上。教师还应有意识地对学生不同阶段所学的词汇进行整理,以成串成群的方式帮助学生产生联想,鼓励学生使用新词汇,从而实现学以致用的目标。

在造句上,应重点培养学生对英语语言的模仿。通过模仿,学生不仅可以加深对写作技巧和方法的掌握,而且可以学习地道的英语句式表达方式。

在篇章结构上,教师要多引导学生阅读各种英文材料,特别是英汉对照的文章,使学生通过大量的阅读对比英汉两种语言的表达方式,逐渐积累英文表达思想模式,掌握作者表达思想的语言运用能力和篇章组织技巧。

4. 加强学生之间和师生之间的沟通

英文写作的合作学习强调在教学过程中的交互作用,以“组内异质、组间同质”为活动方式,以合作和交互为基本特征,倡导学生的分工合作,共同达到学习目标。其核心是不同能力层次的学生在完成任务的过程中进行交流、沟通和合作,从孔子“三人行,必有我师”的学习理念中丰富写作实践。

合作学习是在教师的指导下,以小组为单元,以获得最佳学习效果为目标的学习方式。这种教学策略充分尊重学生的个性,发挥学生的主观能动性,对自己或他人的作品作出相应的对比,集思广益,提高英语写作能力和鉴赏力。

教师在组建小组时,应按学生的知识水平、学习能力、兴趣爱好等各个因素进行综合评价,然后合理搭配不同层次学生,达到组内异质。同时小组要包含各种能力的学生,使组内学生的英语学习能力得以整合,各小组的整体水平得以均衡,做到组间同质。

在选定例文作为素材后,师生共同确定学习的重点、难点,以及通过合作学习要达到的目标。学生以小组为单位找出文章的闪光点,如单词、短语、句型及写作框架等,逐步培养学生的全局观念。尤其要注意要让每一个学习者都有语言实践的机会,这样写作能力较差的学生就能克服心理上的自卑感,主动参与学习过程,在轻松愉快的环境下与同伴合作,从而收到良好的效果。

三、结语

英语写作课的目标就是培养学生运用语言的能力。从教学法上来看,能力在学生这个教学主体的活动中才能发展,只能意会而不能言传身教。但这并不意味着教师可以袖手旁观。恰恰相反,如果我们加强教学内容,重视教学过程,尊重教学规律,使教学科学化、合理化、规范化,帮助学生提高英文写作能力和水平。

求职信写作,由于其社会的实用性,论者如云。在诸多的论者中多教人正面写作,能从写作者实践中找出问题来加以辩证的并不多见。然而,大学生求职信的写作的确存在不少问题,急需规避。不然,求职信将是千篇一律、没有个性的空文,或是对招聘启事的简单重复、缺乏具体印证的材料,或是“包装”无所不能通才的文字等等。没有个性的人才,用人单位不知如何用;没有具体材料印证的人才,用人单位不肯用;“通才”或“全才”,用人单位不敢用。总之,这些条件下的求职者将会被拒之门外。要把求职信写得有个性并且充实,必须注意以下一些问题。

1.“求职信”不等于“求职信”加“应聘信”

在求职信写作实践中,不少大学生对求职信中的应聘信的认识是明确的,知道应聘信是因招聘信息而写的,是知道单位用人且用人条件十分明确的状态下写作的,所以写作时十分明确地将标题命为“应聘信”。但对求职信中与应聘信对应的另一片天地的命名则不知所措,思前想后,认为叫 “求职信”为妙。这大凡有两个理由:其一,求职信是应聘信和与应聘信对应概念的统称,以整体代个体,也差不很远,权且为之;其二,当下有的应用文研究者也是持这种态度的。

其实,说妙也不妙,因为毕竟“应聘信”与“求职信”绝非是一个层面上的两个概念,它们之间是被包涵与包涵的关系,即“求职信”包含了“应聘信”,所以承认了“应聘信”的存在,就不能把“求职信”和“应聘信”放在一个层面上并举。有人会问:“这个与应聘信对应的概念究竟应该叫什么?”笔者认为这是一个至今尚还模糊的区域,因为还没有人给出一个合理的命名,叫法五法八门,笔者曾经在《求职信的分类与定义浅议》(《今日南国》,2009年总第133期)一文中试着叫它“求聘信”,不知可否?

2. “求职信”不等于“自荐信”加“应聘信”

与上述情况相仿,学生在求职信写作中有的将“自荐信”和“应聘信”并举 ,这也是不对的。学生出错的原因,不是偶然的,是有所依托的,如孙莉、邱平主编的《实用应用文写作》,张文英主编的《新编应用文写作教程》,李国英主编的《应用文写作》,朱利萍主编的《应用写作实务》等等,都认为,“求职信”等于“自荐信”加“应聘信”。果真如此吗?笔者认为不是。因为凡是求职信都要用到“推荐”这一手段,因此“应聘信”也离不了“推荐”;再者“应聘”也可以自荐。因此,不能将“自荐信”和“应聘信”并提。

将这里的“自荐信”更名,可以参照上文的方法,叫它“求聘信”。

有的写作者将“求职信”等同于“自荐信”,如王婕、于新秋主编的《应用文写作》,李国英主编的《应用文写作》等等,即是如此。这也是失之确当的。顾名思义,“自荐”即是自我推荐,而求职信并不像有的人说的那样“向用人单位自荐、谋求职位的书信”,其实知名人士等写给相关单位帮人们谋求职位的书信(人们已习惯叫做推荐信的),也应是求职信,只不过这样的求职信所用到的方式是“他荐”罢了。所以不可将“求职信”等同于“自荐信”。

3.“求聘信”不能格式化

求聘信,即是求职者不知道单位是否用人而主动发出的求职信。由于“不知道单位是否用人”,当然用人条件,也就自然没有,因此在这样的条件下写作求聘信,就自然很难把握推荐的尺度,于是有人选取了格式化的写法。求聘信外在形式的格式化是应该提倡的,比如一篇求聘信大致应具备“标题→称呼→问候语→致谢、自我简介、表明意愿→所学知识介绍→自我能力评价→社会实践能力和社会任职→提出希望、期盼回复→致敬语→附件→署名与日期→联系方式方法”这样一些要素,是无可厚非的。但项项俱全,而又千头一面、毫无个性、适合群发的内在构成,则是不可提倡的。玛吉·华特丝、林恩·欧康纳的《求职圣经》里“如何撰写求职信”一节的“葵花宝典”说:“许多人为了省事,印制大量的求职信来寄给雇主。这种千篇一律的文件就像垃圾广告,对方可能连看都没看就拿去回收。他们顶多把你的履历表拿去扫描,看看有没有要找的关键字,接着就存档备查。”这里告诉我们,求职信要写出个性来(当然也包括求聘信了),否则将是一张废纸。

其实,求聘信的写作大可不必格式化,我们也可以有针对性地将它写得实在,写出个性来。首先,求职主体是有别的,其学识、能力、个性、兴趣爱好、阅历等均不尽相同;其次,不同的单位或公司都有各自的发展历程、独自的内涵和用人理念及所需等;其三,从未谋面的单位或公司并非是不可知(知名的单位或公司,是有网上资料的,查看可以获悉相关信息;询问知情的亲朋好友,也是一个了解信息的好途径;已在我们将要投递求聘信的单位或公司里工作的学长,更是我们难得的信息源),做个有心人,通过相关渠道是能够了解到有用信息的,至少可以掌握一些相关情况。注意从上述三方面入手,就不会在写求聘信时一片茫然,就不会把不同的求聘信写成殊路同归的格式化的东西来了。

4. “求聘信”包装不出无所不能的“通才”来

也是由于对单位或公司用人与否的不可知性,大学生在求聘信的写作中采用了一种漫天撒网的方式,不管什么兴趣爱好、知识技能、阅历认知等,也不管是自己的还是他人的,都一股脑儿塞进去,认为网撒得宽了总会有鱼儿就范。这是一种错误的认识,因为用这种方法塑造出来的人才,势必就是无所不能的“通才”。短短的三年或四年时间是不可能有这种神效的,并且世界上也根本没有通才(因为世界知识之广博、行业之繁多,而人们生命年龄及精力之所限)。于是“通才”就成了无人敢用的“闲才”。

我们要用实事求是的态度有针对性地适度地表述自己,切忌过度夸耀以致让所要求职的单位或公司生厌。

5.“应聘信”的“够格”不是“机械的重复”

我们知道,应聘信是依据招聘信息而写作的,写作时要围绕招聘条件一一予以满足,这叫做“够格”。不“够格”的应聘信是得不到用人单位认可的。对于“够格”的理解,有些大学生在写作中采取了机械重复的方法。比如,招聘单位给出的条件是:“具有扎实的文字功底,具有文学作品鉴赏能力;在中外文学刊物上公开发表过作品且具有较大影响、在文学界交际广泛者优先。”应聘者回应的是:“本人具有扎实的文字功底,具有文学作品鉴赏能力;在中外文学刊物上公开发表过作品且具有较大影响、在文学界交际广泛。”就此作罢,并未展开。这样的“够格”写出的应聘信是不够格的。原因是这样的应聘信所表现出来的应聘者的能力、学识等没法让人信服,因为它所回答的只是对招聘条件的简单重复。

招聘条件需要具体事实加以印证,否则就是空洞无物。因此,我们在应聘信的写作中,应以招聘条件为纲,用客观事实加以证明,把条件实化。比如,“本人系xx大学文学院新闻专业学生。主干课程成绩均为优秀(请见附件中《电子成绩卡》;著有较强的文学鉴赏力,在省刊和国家级杂志上发表评论文章多篇,其中较有影响的是《贾平凹<废都>表现手法之我见》(《xx文坛》,2008年第五期)、《新版红楼梦电视剧人物造型评析》(《xx周刊》,2009年第一期),两篇文章都得到社会的好评,享受国家级津贴的xx学院的文学界著名评论家xx教授专门致信加以肯定(请见附件中xx教授信件);大二时本人成为xx省xx文学联社的会员,大三初加入‘xx雨花’学社,并且担任理事。”

通过这种列举事实让应聘条件具体化的过程,增强了应聘条件的说服力。

6. “应聘信”的“超格”不是“够格”外的所有补充

“下一步工作,就是分析广告(招聘启事)内容……把对方的应征资格跟你的专长相比较。如果你还具备别的优势或更好的条件,就算广告(招聘启事)没提到,也可以简介一下。这是高招,因为大部人都是要什么给什么,你却是‘要五角给一块’。”(《求职圣经》)“要五角给一块”这话,说得太好了!在应聘信写作中,我们把这种行为叫做“超格”。它超出了人们原有的期望值,往往让人耳目为之一新,内心为之一振。大学生在应聘信的写作中,常常采用这种“超格”的方法,并且有的人认为越多越好。

适宜的“超格”,其作用不可低估。家乡肉商卖肉有道,依买者要求,称足后,另外割下一小块肉来赐予买者,名曰“搭头”。这“搭头”与应聘信中的“超格”何其相似。这样的“搭头”搭得妙,它抓住了购买者的心理,让卖肉者博得个“大方”的美名,赢得回头客和更多的新顾客。但不适宜的“超格”,其负面作用也不可低估。你若是某餐馆的一名服务员,遇上了一位回族兄弟,经你手,买好了米饭、牛肉炒芹菜(麻油)、炸鸡块(坚果油)、清蒸鲶鱼(花生油),可否能外加一勺猪肉汁呢?这是不能为的,因为回族禁吃猪肉。同理,应聘信中的“超格”,也不能不论时境地烂超,否则会让求职无果。某集团公司老总亲临某财经学院招聘一名财会人员,应聘条件是:男女不论;具有会计专业大专或以上学历;学习成绩良好,具有独自操作能力,能进行项目成本预算和核算,能对公司财务进行独立核算,能独立而熟练地制作公司月报表和年度报表;有良好的心理素质,廉洁奉公。由于该公司社会口碑佳、效益好,许多毕业生争相应聘。某君是本届毕业生的佼佼者,他的应聘信由于材料充实,不但符合老总提出的条件,有的甚至胜出,老总很是看好,可惜的是,该君应聘信中的一句话坏了局。该君为了更充分地体现自己的精神境界,于是额外地添加了这样一句: “工作中,我练就了以大局为重、不拘细节的精神境界。”这样的“超格”是不应该有的,因为从事财会工作的人,认真谨慎的工作态度是至关重要的,甚至有时还需要些斤斤计较。所以,应聘信的“超格”绝非是“够格”外的所有补充,“超格”要把握好一个度。

那么,我们怎样才能把稳“超格”的脉象呢?第一,分析招聘信息的整体要求,并结合工作性质把握;第二,要明确社会所需,一般来说,社会公认的、国家提倡的而应聘条件中未提到的,是可以纳入“超格”行列的。

以上六个方面是目前大学生写作求职信时常出现的问题,应予以规避。

大学生英文写作中的典型错误分析 篇7

为了解大学生写作中的常见错误,笔者对怀化学院人文系174名学生的日记进行了抽样调查。取样的规则是:抽取平时成绩为优、良、中、及格、不及格等五种不同水平的学生日记,每种等级水平随机选10篇。结果共发现错误416个(同一错误在多处出现只算一个),详细结果如下表所示:

从上表中不难看出,语言错误占很大的比重(63.94%),其典型错误有:

1.单词拼写错误

1)sponser——sponsor;2)sity——city;

3)develope——develop;4)krane——crane;

5)comprehention——comprehension;6)iland——island

出现拼写错误的原因是多方面的,其中主要的原因有:10%的拼写错误是由于学生受到了汉语拼音字母的干扰(例2和例4),26%的错误是由于学生误用了发音相似的字母组合(如例1和例5),而51%则属于多写或少写字母的问题(如例3和例6),其他原因占23%。

2.同义词乱用

1)Many people believe that money can instead of everything.

2)My grandfather has lived an alone life since my grandmother died.

“instead of”和“replace”都有“代替”的意思,但前者是介词短语,不能做谓语,后者是动词。因此,此处应用后者。此外,for example/such as/like,watch/notice/see,take place/happen/occur,accident/incident/event等的使用也是学生经常出错的地方。

例2)中学生将形似词“alone”和“lonely”混为一谈了。“alone”是“单独”的意思,不能做定语,而“lonely”是“孤单的”意思,能充当定语,根据上下文画线部分应改为“a lonely”。学生常混淆的还有:assure/ensure/insure,respectable/respectful/respective,imaginary/imaginative/imaginable,cross/across/crossing等。

3.词语搭配不当

1)Too much drinking will injuire our body.

2)We should touch the society in our spare time.

“injuire our body”是根据汉语“影响我们的身体”的说法直译的,应该为“injure our health”。同样例2)中“touch”是由汉语“接触社会”直译过来的,其正确的说法应是“keep in touch with the society”。

由于不熟悉英语词语的固定搭配,学生们往往将汉语的搭配生硬地译成英语令操母语者十分费解,常见的错误有:将“取得进步”(make progress)误译成“gain progress”,将“强硬政策”(tough policy)误译为“strong policy”,将“学会竞争”(learn how to compete)误译为“learn competition”,将“获得知识”(get/acquire knowledge)误译为“learn knowledge”等。[2](p120)

4.语法错误

1)There are only a few students in our class want to take the oral English test.

上例是从汉语“我们班上只有几个同学想参加英语口语考试”直译来的。汉语中“有”和“想”可以同时存在于一个句子中,而“There be结构”只能有一个谓语动词,故应将画线部分改为who want to take the oral English test.

2)Since many students in our class against the plan,we have to give it up.

随意用介词代替动词是中国学生使用英语的通病,上例中没有谓语,应在介词“against”前加“are”。英语中习惯用介词或介词短语表示动作,如介词“for”表示“赞成”,“against”表示“反对”;又如介词短语“on one’s own”和“instead of”分别是“独立自主”和“代替”的意思,这使得学生误以为它们本身就是动词因而出现上述错误。

文化方面的错误约占学生错误的27.64%,其具体表现为:

1.词义错误

1)My mother is an intellectual who teaches in a primary school.

2)My father is a peasant who has had a positive effect on me with the spirit of hard work and plain living.

英汉语中某些词汇的内涵并非一一对等的。例1)中的“intellectual”用得不恰当,因为该词并不等同于汉语中的“知识分子”。汉语中,“知识分子”既包括大学教师也包括小学教师,而在英语中小学教师不在“intellectual”之列。类似的错误还有:将“drugstore”等同于“药店”,将“service station”等同于“服务站”,将“aggressive”等同于“侵略好斗的”等。

例2)中的“peasant”和“farmer”二者虽然都指农民,但前者指的是粗俗且愚昧无知的下层劳动者,带有明显的贬义,而后者则是褒义词,这里描写父亲显然要用后者。学生容易犯错的类似词汇还有:将“landlord”等同于“地主”、将“individualism”等同于“个人主义”、将“statesman”(政治家)等同于“politician”(政客)等。

2.话语错误

1)Even a three-year-old child knows it.

2)Since 1979,a lot of factories have sprung up like bamboos in this area.

例1)是根据汉语“三岁小孩都知道”这一说法生硬翻译过来的,英语中表示人人皆知的事情的正确说法是“Everybody knows it”。

例2)中学生想要表达的是许多工厂像雨后春笋般地涌现出来,事实上,英国并不长竹子,因而无此说法,故应改为“sprung up like mushrooms”。

由于不了解英汉语习语文化的差异,学生常犯类似错误,如将“力大如牛”(as strong as a horse)误译成“as strong as a bull”,将“胆小如鼠“as timorous as a hare”误译成“as timorous as a mouse”,将瓮中之鳖”(like a rat in a hole),误译成“like a turtle in a hole”等。

3.汉语式思维

1)No stopping playing computer games leads students to have an abnormal life.

2)We are easy to chat with our parents through the Internet.

汉语式英语是学生在英语写作过程中的主要问题之一。中国学生已习惯于把母语的表达习惯和思维方式套用到外语学习中去[3](P156),上述句子就是完全按照汉语的语序翻译过来的,其正确的表达应是:

1)By playing computer games,students live an abnormal life.

2)It’s easy for us to chat with our parents through the Internet.

类似的错误还有:

3)Most people are often by car or by bus to go to work.

(Most people go to work often by car or by bus.)

4)She couldn’t find a good job because she has no background.

(She didn’t have a good educational background.)

从以上错误来看,英语基础知识薄弱和母语文化的干扰是学生犯错的主要原因。因此,教师既要加强基础知识和基本技能的传授和训练,又要注意比较英汉语文化,着重介绍句型结构和思维方式的特点,使学生从整体上把握两种文化的差异从而写出地道的英语文章。

此外,还应注意纠错的方式。教师不必每错必纠,因为一篇文章改正的错误太多会让学生认为自己一无是处,从而产生自卑心理。正确的方式是忽视小错误,典型错误在课堂上集中纠正,这样既能纠正错误达到示范的效果,又能很好地保护学生的自尊心。

女大学生应聘被“潜规则”

现年19岁的李晓霜出生于江西吉安的一个普通工人家庭,她自小格外聪明,活泼开朗。虽然家境不宽裕,但父母仍然省吃俭用供她读书。2009年9月,李晓霜顺利考入南昌某高校。然而,父母却相继下岗。为了供女儿读完大学,夫妻俩只得举债在家附近租了个门面开了一家快餐店。快餐店开业后门可罗雀,一家人的生计举步维艰。为了缓解生活压力,李晓霜只得一边读大学,一边做家教。

2010年5月,考虑到马上就要放暑假了,为了下学年的学费和生活开销,她必须利用暑期找个工作,为家里减轻负担。5月21日,李晓霜看到网上刊登了一则招聘文员的信息,她仔细看了一下条件,正好适合自己,于是便立即打电话咨询了一下对方工作性质和多少薪水。一个叫郑晶的老总接了电话,称文员每月1200元,并要求李晓霜到公司面试,还约好了时间和地点。

在与李晓霜发生关系后,郑晶和江斌主动献殷勤,慢慢地接近李晓霜,多次提及他们在广西等地有很多朋友,都是大老板,如果李晓霜和他们的朋友搞好关系的话,能赚到很多钱。两人见李晓霜迟迟没有回应,又生了一计。他们知道,李晓霜身上的钱不多,交了300元押金后,连食宿都成问题。郑晶和江斌看准了这一点,于是借口称李晓霜在外面住不方便,也不安全,让她到公司来住。

李晓霜再次被郑晶和江斌的花言巧语迷惑了,却不知道其更肮脏奸诈的本性。于是李晓霜跟着他们来到南昌市二七北路127号一栋民房,这里是郑晶和江斌的租住处。进入房间后,郑晶、江斌假装和李晓霜拉起了家常,突然话锋一转对李晓霜称:“根据公司的规定,公司的文员不仅要与老总发生性关系,还要跟‘客户’发生性关系。”对此,李晓霜立即警觉起来,表示不能答应,并反问道:“这跟做小姐有什么区别?”此时,郑晶和江斌露出了狰狞的面目。对此,李晓霜坚决不同意。

身心遭受了一场劫难的李晓霜不知道自己是怎么度过这个夜晚的,她只是一直睁眼看着天花板直到天亮……第二天一早,李晓霜忽然接到同学打来的电话,她终于抓到了一根救命稻草,于是在电话中哭诉自己遭到轮奸并让同学思思来接自己。同学思思得知情况后,当即打电话报警。

十多个女大学生先后受骗

公安机关根据报案人思思提供的线索,来到南昌市二七北路将李晓霜解救出来,之前已听到风声的两名犯罪嫌疑人已经逃跑。警方根据受害人李晓霜反映的情况认为,此案不但涉嫌轮奸,很有可能还涉及介绍、引诱、容留卖淫等犯罪行为,于是成立了专案调查组。

办案民警在对辉煌企业南昌分公司调查后,发现该公司为一空头公司,从未在工商局注册登记。民警在对犯罪嫌疑人两处落脚点搜查时发现,犯罪嫌疑人使用的一本笔记本上记载的名字并非郑晶和江斌,而是“郑某晶”,此人今年大学毕业后已赴外地打工,可见其身份被人冒用。不仅如此,警方发现郑晶和江斌这两个名字也是假名,警方认为疑犯可能还会使用他人的身份证。

2010年7月6日,根据群众举报,警方锁定犯罪嫌疑人郑晶,其使用郑某晶的身份登记入住二七南路一家宾馆。自称为郑某晶的男子正是化名郑晶的犯罪嫌疑人,其真名叫吕正好,现年26岁,江西都昌县人,2008年就因涉嫌介绍、引诱卖淫被警方追捕。当晚,警方立即行动,在该宾馆抓获化名郑晶的疑犯吕正好。

在抓捕吕正好时,警方在其房间发现一名叫小钰(化名)的弋阳县17岁女孩。经查,小钰也是一名被骗的学生。今年6月底,小钰看到网上的招聘信息后,前往南昌市二七南路天御大厦601室应聘,最终掉进吕正好等人精心设计的陷阱之中。“你要思想开放、善于交际。”应聘时,吕正好等人同样给小钰

“洗脑”。

之后,吕正好自称是建筑公司老板,刚与女友分手,并对小钰表示爱慕之意。在吕正好的诱骗下,小钰把自己交了出去。接着,吕正好等人又编织各种理由,引诱小钰去卖淫。幸好民警及时赶到,将小钰解救出来。

落网后的吕正好在审讯中向警方交代了其同伙江宇和江自明正在二七南路天御大厦601窒,警方立即将江宇和江自明抓获。其间,警方在宾馆将小红解救出来。小红19岁,分宜县人,是7月5日应聘进入吕正好等人编造的“中寰建筑有限公司”上班的。经查,他们尚未来得及对小红实施犯罪计划。然而,令人吃惊的是,除了受害人李晓霜、小钰和小红外,还有10多个女大学生先后掉入这个团伙布下的陷阱。然而,这些受害人中,很少有人报案。

2010年9月21日,吕正好、江宇和江自明被检察机关依法提起公诉,等待他们的将是法律的严惩。

案后语

事后,据三名犯罪嫌疑人交代,他们强奸女学生只为让其卖淫。他们来南昌务工都没有赚到什么钱。于是,便想到利用涉世不深的女孩卖淫赚钱这一发财“捷径”。据吕正好交代,如果他成功“介绍”一女学生给非法卖淫组织者,便可获取5000元至10000元不等的介绍费。面对如此丰厚的报酬,吕正好和江宇在李晓霜报案后,面对警方追捕时,依然在网上发布招聘信息,继续诱骗女学生从事卖淫活动。强奸女学生并不是犯罪嫌疑人的最终目的,他们的目的在于让女学生屈服,让其丧失廉耻心和自尊心,以致最后任由他们摆布。

这一引诱卖淫团伙先在江西南昌租房开设空头公司,并在互联网上发布虚假广告专门招聘涉世未深、社会经验不足的女生。之后对女学生“洗脑”,以交朋友的方式诱骗女学生上床或实施强奸,威逼利诱女学生从事卖淫活动。可以说这群骗子的骗术并不高明,但为什么会有女孩屡屡上当受骗呢?

Firstly I classify the oral training into a couple of types.

I.The first type is the training of flexibility of one’s tongue. We can briefly name this type the tongue training, which includes the accuracy training and the fluency training. I emphasize the tongue here because the muscle of our oral cavity has been adapted for the Chinese pronunciation no matter how old we are when we begin to learn English. The English pronunciation system is totally new to us. We must constantly exercise our tongue to adapt to the English pronunciation system. This process will be the way for English majors to form a language habit. The training first focuses on accuracy. Accuracy has priority over fluency. Fluency comes second, but the students still have to do a lot of practice to obtain it.

1. Reading aloud is the initial step for accuracy and fluency. In recent years crazy English has been popular among English learners. Actually reading aloud is a must for crazy English. The founder of crazy English has really benefited from reading aloud. By reading aloud over and over the learners can have enough tongue muscle exercise and their tongues will getting more and more flexible.

2. Step two for accuracy and fluency is to read fast . Reading fast will surely intensify one’s fluency.

3. Then comes step three for accuracy and fluency, which is to recite. Reciting is also the traditional way of learning Chinese and it is proved to be very effective. Reciting a lot is the access to the real communication. Accuracy and fluency are the criteria when the tongue is exercised.

4. When Accuracy and fluency are both achieved, attention should be given to speaking idiomatic English. Imitation plays an essential role in speaking idiomatic English. When one imitate the authentic English pronunciation and intonation, the first level is likeness, that is to say the pronunciation and intonation is very close to those of the authentic English. The second level is to speak the language as if one were the native speaker.

As for how the students will d o the training, I must point out that since we are discussing about oral English skills training, we must differentiate this training from the regular oral English class . I mean this training is similar to that of the basic skills of opera actors. So this training is more mechanical than meaningful. For most of the time, the students have to do the self-training. We take pronunciation skills as an example. They include the pronunciation of individual vowels and consonants, liaison, intonation and so on, which will also be taught and practiced in normal class sessions. However when they take the form of self-training, the way of doing the practice might be monotonous, that is to say, the students can only keep reading aloud to themselves just as the opera actors training their voices. Meanwhile the teacher can walk around and correct their mistakes if they have ever found one.

II. The second type is the training of reaction. For so many years we have remained Chinese speakers. Now we have to convert our language from Chinese into English. This conversion needs us to have a quick reaction. One must react quickly and directly to the new language one is learning. In that case translation must be avoided. How should the training of reaction be given? We can mainly use the game activities to do this training. For instance, an activity named TPR (Total Physical Response) is fit for the training of reaction. The students do some actions as the teacher commands, which can well train the students’ reaction directly in English.

III. The third type is the training of one’s thinking. As you know, language is the tool of thinking. One’s thinking is always based on language, which might be one’s native tongue or foreign language. According to my teaching practice, some poor English speakers fail to speak fluent English due to their illogical thinking. Sometimes they think in Chinese and then translate into English. Sometimes they can not focus on the subject they are asked to talk about and beat about the bush. At other times they have nothing to say because they don’t think clearly.

1.Train the students to think in English. Since the students are English majors, they must think in English and then express themselves orally in English.

2.Train the students to think widely. During my teaching practice, I’ve found that the students often fail to think widely and to express t hemselves from different angles when they are asked to talk about one subject in English. For example, a picture with a single mobile phone in it is presented to the students, who are asked to talk at least three minutes in English. There is no restriction on what they say so long as they can say something relating to the mobile phone. At the very beginningthe students may still hesitate about what to say. However if a couple of strategies such as telling a story, making a dialogue, making an introduction, making a comparison and so on , are suggested, the students can very quickly think widely.

3. Train the students to focus on one point when they think.

Failing to focus on one point when they talk in English is the common phenomenon among the English-learners including the English majors. For example, if they are asked about what they did on Christmas day, they normally will talk as if they were keeping a day-to-day account. They might say : “ I bought a lot of presents for my family; I helped my mom to prepare delicious food for Christmas dinner; After dinner we gave each other presents; I went to bed very late”. You see they have told everything they did but they didn’t focus on one thing and give a detailed description. In order to train the students to focus on one point and avoid keeping a day-to-day account, the teacher can keep asking a series of questions one by one. When the student say: “ I bought a lot of presents for my family. The teacher can then ask: “What did you buy?” The student say: “I bought a red scarf, a jacket, a teddy bear and a story book.” The teacher ask: “For whom?” The student: “The red scarf formy mom, the jacket for my papa and both the teddy bear and the story book for my nephew.” Why did you buy a red scarf for your mom? How old is she?” The student: “Although my mom is already sixty, she still feels young and energetic and she loves the stuff with bright color”. With questions and answers alternating between the teacher and the student, the training will be well accomplished.

To conclude, oral skills training is a must to all English majors. The teacher should shoulder the duty to urge the students to do it.
