那么,步子能不能迈得大一些,能否越过表象的实例,将“发现”变成更大范围的“猜想”,最终在相对严格的“验证”下蜕变成数学意义上的“结论”?再放开一点,探索思路和研究策略能不能交给学生自己制订?在长期的思考和准备后,笔者在“人教版”小学数学五年级下册“2和5的倍数的特征”一课中做了此类尝试和研究。

【教学背景】

调查发现,小学五年级学生已具备初步的抽象逻辑思维能力,他们在平时的学习与生活中对探究性学习比较熟识,接触过一些小调查、小课题和数学结论的推理片段。虽然他们对合情推理的认识仅仅停留在感性阶段,但具备更深层次探究和更完整推理的主观意愿和客观可能。“2和5的倍数的特征”的教学在“因数和倍数”之后、“3的倍数的特征”之前,是在概念性知识学习后呈现的规律性知识,本身就带有探索与总结的意味。此外还应注意到,随后的“3的倍数的特征”和“2和5的倍数的特征”观察视角不一样,所以这节课应重点关注探究的过程、方法而不是结论,以免形成负迁移。相比数学结论,数学思维和逻辑推理更应是这节课的主角。

笔者从具体的教学过程中摘取了以下3个片段以供研讨:

片段一:推波助澜,完善推理思路

师:首先我们来研究5的倍数的特征,谁来给我们说5个5的倍数。

师:只看这5个数,可以研究出所有5的倍数的特征吗?

生:不可以。

师:那怎么办?

生:继续往下写。

师:写多少个比较合适呢?

生:100以内差不多就可以了。

师:那我们就请出百数图来帮忙吧!

1.探索与发现

(1)出示:请在百数表中圈出5的倍数,观察一下,你发现它们有什么特征?

师:你打算怎么找?

生:挨个判断,看这个数能不能被5整除(自己动手圈出5的倍数)。

(2)投影展示一名学生圈完以后的百数图,全班核对。

师:你有什么发现?

(学生在百数图中举例验证,并形成统一的发现:100以内5的倍数个位都是0或者5。)

2.猜测与验证

师:刚才我们通过挨个找,发现100以内5的倍数的特征,那所有的5的倍数又有什么特征呢?

生1:我觉得所有的5的倍数应该都有这个特征。

师:为什么你用应该这个词?

生1:因为100以上的数我还没有找。

师:可以挨个找吗?

生1:不能,那也太多了!(想了一下)应该是不可能,因为数是没有尽头的,我根本不可能全部找出来!

师:哦!所以我们暂时只能说它是一个猜想。下面怎么办?

生:验证猜想。

师:怎么验证?

生:举例验证。

师:有没有要补充的?

生:举100以上的数的例子来验证。

(教师随便写3个100以上、个位是0或者5的数,分别都能被5整数,结果学生发现它们都是5的倍数,也就是符合猜想。)

师:可以下结论了吗?

学生间出现分歧,有的觉得可以下结论了,有的觉得还应该多举些例子,最后讨论达成共识,可以多举些例子,这样更保险一些。

于是,教师要求同桌之间互相随便说符合猜想的数,检验是不是5的倍数。

3.结论与应用

全班得出结论:个位是0或5的数都是5的倍数。

应用:快速判断这些数是不是5的倍数:43 559 3000501 105;请再写出两个1000以上的5的倍数。

这部分教材的编排非常简洁,发现规律后直接呈现结论,但实际推理过程却蕴含很多细节。整个过程,教师并没有给出一个完整的方案,而是让学生遵章执行,一步步地引导质疑,跟循学生的思路,推波助澜,让他们自己找出最严谨的方法来解决问题,自然而连贯。此外,在实际教学中,学生在“验证100以外的5的倍数是否也符合这个规律”上花费的时间最多,真实体验到“猜想必须经过严格的验证才能变为结论”这句话并不是说说而已。

片段二:提纲挈领,总结探究范本

师:刚才我们一共经历了哪些步骤,最后总结出5的倍数的特征?

生1:我们最开始确定先在百数图中找5的倍数比较合适,多了不好,少了也不好。

师:嗯,选一个合适的范围。

生2:然后我们通过在百数图中圈出5的倍数后发现,它们的个位都是0或者5。

师:哦,通过圈出来这种探索方式,我们发现了一定的规律。(板书:探索、发现)

生3:但是这些都只是100以内的数,我们大胆猜想100以外的数也有这样的规律,并举了很多100以上的数来验证,最终发现是这样的。

师:大胆猜想,小心验证,好一个小小科学家!(板书:猜想、验证)科学家们,最后有成果吗?

生:有,我们得出了结论,5的倍数个位都是0或者5!

实践证明,在引导学生完成顺畅、严谨的推理过程后及时地总结、提炼步骤,不仅可以巩固、厘清之前对于推理的感性认识,也为接下来的内化、应用铺平了道路。

片段三:举一反三,巩固践行成果

师:你能自己制定方案,研究一下2的倍数的特征吗?可以和同桌讨论,相互提建议。

生1:我决定也先在百数图中圈出2的倍数,然后寻找它们的规律。

师:嗯,探究与发现。(指板书)

生1:接着根据发现的规律去猜想所有2的倍数的特征,然后在100以上的数里面举例验证这个猜想。也就是猜想和验证,最后再得出我的结论。

师:佩服你思路的严谨!你们觉得他的方案怎么样?

生:很好!

(学生自由发言,最后教师引导大家修正自己的方案,得出相对清晰、严谨的步骤。)

师:那大家就用自己的方案试一试,看能不能得出结论。除此之外,要注意想办法让别人了解你的整个探究过程,不论是说还是写,或者是画图。

2的倍数和5的倍数两个内容之间衔接非常紧密,可以也应该放手让学生自己应用已有的推理思路和探究步骤。数学思维的培养是一个漫长的过程,因此,这个环节的重点是学生的内在思维,具体的表达形式比较随意。

在最后的汇报中,出现了很多精彩作品:

生1回答:我先圈出了百数表中2的倍数,发现它们的个位都是0、2、4、6、8,然后我猜想是不是所有的2的倍数都有这个特征呢?所以我请同桌随便写了5个100以上的、个位是0、2、4、6、8的数,分别是102、1234、6006、1458,这些数被2整除以后分别是51、617、3003和729,发现确实可以被整除,从而得出结论,个位是0、2、4、6、8的数都是2的倍数。

不管是写还是说,学生都能基本完整地陈述出整个推理过程。

【案例反思】

如何帮助学生顺利地迈过自主探索、独立研究这一大步?笔者认为有以下3个方面:

1.变被动为主动,让学生自己思考

生活中处处有推理。学生不仅在已有的学习中经历过完整的合情推理小调查、小研究,还在很多生活事件中体验过相较课堂更为复杂的推理。总之,他们有足够的感性认识支持他们顺着教师的引导自己完成整个推理。不预制、不打断,保留学生思维的自然和完整,不知不觉中他们会有让你惊讶的表现。

2.及时总结,放手探究

感性认识只能用来应对单个问题,让这种解决问题的思路上升为方法还需要提炼和总结。小学阶段的推理,探索、发现、猜想、验证、结论这些关键词只是用来引导学生,而不是用来限制学生,放手让他们自己探究,他们完全可以用自己喜欢的词语、方式来表达,真正需要关注的,是背后的思路。

3.用板书调动和提示

当学生遇到困难以后怎么办?板书提示是不错的方法,为此,笔者设计了以上板书。

探究,探索和研究。当前,考虑到小学生的特点,一般是自主探索、集体研究,这样的处理有其合理性,但长期以来对探索发现环节的重视给学生传递了一个微妙的信号:发现的规律都可以变成结论,猜想和验证只是个形式。诚然,像“2和5倍数的特征”这样适合完全放手探索的课并不多,但在这样的课里面去重申、强调推理思维的完整和严谨却非常必要。

HERCULES-2科研计划资金投入预算为2500万欧排放、全寿命周期自适应、先进材料和柔性燃料发动机。

任务分解

目标4:开发用于缸盖和增压器涡轮壳的新型材料。在温度上升50度的条件下,提高缸盖第二热应力断裂抵抗因子,同时,发动机缸盖重量降低20%;在发动机排气温度上升70度的腐蚀环境下,进一步提高增压器涡轮壳的抗循环热冲击能力。
