个人观点：调整好心态是关键

我去年面试时候的英语口语题是这样的：请用英文谈一下你对××学校的印象。最终口语得分85分，在同时面试的考生中，算是比较高的分数。其实仔细想想，英语口语本身并不难，难的是调整好心态，面对考官不要紧张是最重要的。

还有一点事我们的求学态度。我们再牛也是那些主考官的学生，我们懂得的知识在这些学识渊博的老师面前仅仅是皮毛，因此谦恭的态度是必须的。“吾爱吾师，吾更爱真理”这句话千万不要用在复试中，相反我们必须将尊重的心态表露出来，例如你的脸上要始终表现出认真和谨慎。谈吐中要有礼貌，对问题有异议尽量回避不谈，总之表现的越谦虚越好，当然也不能唯唯诺诺的不敢说话了。

个人观点：切忌表现自己

在初试查分之后到复试的这段时间里，我也进行了专业课知识及英语口语的练习，但是怎么说呢，可能是自信有点过头了，都扎的不实，感觉有点浮躁。复试当天，首先从英语自我介绍开始，仗着自己平时口语不错，也是为了一开场就“震住”老师，我说的语速较快，也自以为标准流利，觉得这样老师对我的第一印象一定很好，觉得这个学生有点儿实力。结果大错特错，我这样的表现从一开始就给了面试老师不太好的印象，甚至挑起了他们的“斗志”，加之这段时间专业复习不足，导致我重复性的“pardon?”和间歇性的逻辑混乱，慌张与后悔的情绪也一下子都上来了，就更没有办法集中思想思考问题，虽然之前的基础还可以，但根本没办法在这种情况下应付，可想而知我的复试狼狈，几乎是抓着头皮走出考场的。

细节决定成败

英语口语和听力的测试也是比较简单的，其实一般说来不管是笔试还是面试，复试的难度都是相对较小的，这是因为目标院校握有复试的绝对权利，而复试的具体内容都是具体到每个院系的，而院系的老师们一般都是比较体谅学生的，他们也希望自己能多带几个学生，这样于人于己都有好处。题目的难易程度并不是复试淘汰考生的关键因素，名次的前后才是最直接的因素。因此复试中英语口语的测试也是相对简单的，关键是如何将自己的实力良好的展示给主考官。我当

时进行英语口语的测试是，主考官先是让我用英语来自我介绍（这个很简单，但是也很能体现出一个学生的英语基本功）。因此我希望你们能事先把这段自我介绍精心准备，最好达到倒背如流的程度，以此给导师一个好的印象，也可以增加自己的信心。自我介绍之后，导师们会让你朗读一段英文短文给他们听。这篇短文难度比六级阅读理解的难度稍低，因此对于久经沙场的我们来说，这个阅读是小菜一碟，不过也不能掉以轻心，须知英语朗读的过程实际上可以反映你对英语语言的理解，例如长句的停顿可以反映出你对英语语法的理解以及你的英语思维特点等等。如果遇到生词，不必停顿也不要跳跃不读，你只要按照阅读经验和习惯并依靠对这个单词的构词方式将它读出来就行了。这些小的细节大家要学会灵活处理，否则很可能掉进“陷阱”。在读完这篇文章后，导师会根据这篇文章问你1～3个简单问题，也许他也会问你一些他比较感兴趣的日常的热门话题，你当然要用英语来回答，这时千万不要担心，用最简单的日常英语来做回答就行，三五句话就行，多说无益，还有可能暴露出更多的错误！

在准备英语面试时，大家可以搜集一些经常被问到的问题，如：

明确报考院校的出题范围

今年各高校基本上会延续2005年的测试方法，这也意味着考试内容、考试程序、计分方法仍旧各不相同，具体分为以下几种方式：

1、英语听力口语测试与专业课面试分开，并专门进行历时约为30分钟的听力放音笔试和口语面试测试；

2、听力和口语放在一起进行测试，整体测试分项打分；

3、听力进行专门单项测试，口语测试与专业课面试相结合；

4、听力口语测试全部与专业课面试相结合，整体测试分项打分。

由于各校听力内容差别很大，有的学校的听力试题就是六级听力真题；还有的学校的听力试题则需要听一段与专业有关的英语段子后再回答问题。对于借用相对成熟的测试体系（类似六级）的学校，考生复习起来就会相对简单，只需利用历年听力真题来备考就能达到事半功倍的效果。

但是对于有些院校，如清华，其听力要求为：“本部分以考查学生理解真实性英语语言表达内容为宗旨。放录音时间约30分钟；内容选自日常对话、采访、新闻、简短讲座等录音素材。考试形式为以记笔记形式填表格、完成句子、回答问题，以体现常用理解和表达能力的主观题型为主，不采用多项选择题型。”这样难度就大多了。因此在明确各校英语复试听力不尽相同的情况之后，考生们就应该针对自己将要面对的考试类型进行准备。

狠抓基本功，多听多练

无论哪种类型的听力考试，对其基本技能的要求总是万变不离其宗的，下面我们就来看看，如何从本开始，提高听力：

首先考生本人尤其要重视自己的发音，充分掌握英音和美音的发音规则和区别、连读的规则等等。如果考生自己的发音都不标准，听到标准音的时候肯定也分辨不出来。这就需要从根本上去改变我们多年养成的一些错误发音习惯——小到元音、辅音，大到弱读、连读、失爆等等。针对这种情况，考生平时应多查字典，校对正确的音标，掌握正确的发音规则，还可以去参考市面上与语音有关的材料。另外，矫正语音最有效的方法之一就是跟读磁带，只需逐字逐句地跟读一盘磁带甚至半盘磁带即可保证有完美的发音。

其次，听力考试时对词汇量也有一定的要求。但是必须根据各高校考查方法有针对性地准备。参加借用成熟测试体系的复试考生掌握大约3500个基本词汇已经足够了，如果能在此基础上再参考一些六级的听力词汇和六级听力材料那就更为理想了。因为六级的语速是每分钟160～180个单词，而考研复试的语速通常不会超过该速度。对于那些听力考试材料是本校专业英语材料的考生来说，难度还是比较大的！这部分考生需要掌握大量专业词汇并要求达到能听能说的高度。因此这些考生需要经常关注自己所报考院系的研究动向，找一些专业英语磁带作为听力材料，并且达到听完之后能复述解释某些专业内容的程度。

再次，针对不少高校复试听力考查偏向于主观题型的现象，笔者建议广大考生在考前还要多做精听和听写两项练习。精听就是将录音材料上的信息全部听下来，做到听懂。听写就是在精听的基础上，将听到材料记录下来。材料可以以六级材料为标准，不要选取篇幅过长的文章。每篇文章以听四遍为标准，其中两遍为慢速。听力的提高是一个长期的过程，但是只要每天多花时间并采取恰当的方法，在短期之内一定可以在原有水平上更上一层楼。

1.自我介绍篇(重点)。基本上每个院校每个专业的口试中都会涉及这一方面。考官其实是要借此了解你的口头表达能力以及你的报名表之外的一些信息。自我介绍时间以2-3分钟为宜。思路要清楚，要突出重点，口语尽量流利(不要太流利了，有背诵之嫌)。

1)考官要求你作自我介绍时，不要用…let me introduce myself briefly / please allow me to introduce myself to you等句子，重复、啰嗦。开头可以只用一句话引入：Dear professors, I feel so glad to meet all of you here。然后就可以进入主题，介绍姓名、年龄等等。

2)自我介绍的主体内容。

① 姓名。介绍自己姓名时，发音一定要准(南方考生要多加注意)。

② 年龄。年龄可以跟在姓名后带过(I am XXX, 25 years old)。

③ 原来的院校、专业。注意：一定要把原来学校的英文名称、专业的英文名称弄清楚(尤其是跨校、跨专业的学生)。

所属的公司、职位。注意：在职考生则应将自己公司、自己职位/职称的英文名称弄明白。

④ 性格、能力。可以着重强调你的个性对你报考的专业有何积极的作用。如果报考的是学术性的专业，可以说自己细心(carefully，detail-oriented)、条理分明(logical)、踏实(steady)等；如果是研究性、应用性更强一点的专业，可以说自己负责(responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。

其他的一些表示性格、能力的形容词有：active, aggressive(有进取心的)，adaptable, amicable(友好的)，analytical(善于分析的)，cooperative, creative, disciplined, dutiful, energetic, faithful, gentle, independent(有主见的)，innovative, motivated, modest, objective, precise, punctual, precise(一丝不苟的)，temperate等等。

在职考生或有过工作经验的考生还可以强调一下你的工作成绩，如：As the assistant to the General Manger of XXX Company, I have helped to negotiate a $200,000 deal for the corporation。

⑤ 爱好。All work and no play make Jack a dull boy.除了强调你的学习的重视，同时也要避免给考官一种“书呆子”的感觉。一般可以从体育、音乐、电影等方面来说，同时要简单说明这些爱好对你的积极意义(build my body, relax myself, open my mind…)；注意避免提到那些可能引起考官反感的爱好，如：playing computer games，watching TV等。

⑥ 你对报考的专业有兴趣(be interested in/be fascinated with/be obsessed with…)，可适当举出一些例子，如经常看相关的书籍、论文、文章、新闻等。在职考生可以强调知识教育对工作的影响： In my work, I find it necessary to broaden my horizons in communication.That’s why I long for entering your prestigious university。

3)结束时可以用说：That’s all about me./ Well, that’s who I am.Thanks for your attention。

2.家庭、家乡、学校篇。考官其实是要通过你的家庭、家乡或学校来了解你的成长的环境。

1)家庭。需要注意的是，考官并不是为了做人口调查而提出这个问题的，所以应该避免流水账似地介绍家庭成员；要尽量说明家人(尤其是父母)对你造成哪些方面(性格、职业规划、做事风格等)良好的影响。可以参考以下句式结构：Just like my father, I am especially interested in history./ Though my father is an ordinary worker, his responsible attitude towards work has a great influence on me。

2)家乡。正所谓“一方水土养育一方人”，考官实际上是想从你对家乡的介绍中找出有关你性格、志向的线索。可以从历史、历史人物、著名景点、独特风俗或特产等方面来简单介绍，注意要表达热爱家乡的情感。

一般院校英语复试分笔试和面试，笔试难度不同，一般是六级的水平，有些院校可能会达到托福、雅思水平，英语面试考察学生听说能力。对于专业英语的学生考察要求会更高。

2. 在英语面试中我怕老师问问题，所以我的英文自我介绍就多一点，行吗?

面试中，自我介绍的长短和面试问题的多少没有必然联系，如果没有硬性要求，自我介绍一般在1-2分钟左右即可。如果时间太长，容易引起面试考官的反感并打断考生，这样会影响后续面试，得不偿失。

另一方面，很多面试问题都是针对自我介绍中的一些内容进行引申提问的，因此自我介绍时间越长内容越多，后续面试的问题可能会越多，所以考生一定要注意把握时间和节奏。

3. 我的口语不错，面试时候多说一点老师会不会给多一点分?

建议要结合问题来控制答案的多少，精炼、准确是最好的。在面试过程中，要注意心态的问题，不可妄自菲薄也不可妄自尊大。

4. 四六级没过，复试能不能被淘汰?

根据历年复试的例子，四六级没过却依然考研成功的考生大有人在，因此考生不必过分忧虑。但在面试的过程中，如果面试官问到此类问题，一定要认真承认自己没通过四六级考试的事实，不要找任何借口，并且要表达出在未来的研究生生活中，会加强英语的学习和训练，

5. 复试中英语口语的常见考查形式有哪些?

一般有三种形式：其一是面试官提问，考生回答;二是两位考生之间互问互答;三是考生们分组进行小组讨论。

6. 复试前，可以准备哪些口语备考材料?

应试材料的`准备：为了准备口语考试，可以准备一些材料，如《英语中级口语教程》、《四、六级英语口语应试》等。当然如果确定参加哪种英语口试，又了解其口语考试的形式与内容，选择针对其考试的口语材料更为有效，如雅思口语、托福口语等。

7. 如何回答考官，才能给考官留下好印象?

首先，无论问答哪类问题，千万不要只回答“YES”或“NO”，而是要加上你的reason或者是example;

其次，要适时表达出自己的观点或意见;

最后，如果遇到不会的问题，千万不懂装懂，要注意面试心态，表现出自己虚心受教的态度。

8. 关于“最后一个问题”

最后，考官还会问你一个问题，这是你进一步展示自己的大好机会，如果前面不太理想，也可借此补救一下。

9. 面试结束

考官明确说出：This is the end of the test, thank you。说明考试正式结束。站起来，拿好自己的东西，如准考证，与考官说再见：Thank you, goodbye. 或Thank you for your interview goodbye. 然后离开。注意考试结束后不要问老师关于得分的问题，应该马上礼貌的离开。

很多人认为，英语只要说得流利，对方听得懂，语音准不准无所谓，其实这是英语学习的一大误区。我们中国人在英语上投入了太多时间和精力，目的就是能在生活中和老外自由交流、真诚沟通。

试想，面试者在面试时操着一口带有浓郁中国或地方色彩的英文口音，会给考官留下什么样的第一印象呢?如果我们的口语既不标准，也不悦耳(通常不标准的也不大可能悦耳)，那么一个必然的结果就是：说的人越说越没信心，听的人越听越没兴趣，最终英语的交际功能就无法顺利实现。

所以，纯正的发音给我们带来的首先就是自信心和自豪感。如果我们确定自己说的英语纯正动听，就不会害怕在别人面前秀英文，就会更有信心学好它，这样听说水平自然就会大大提升。反之，越没信心就越不想开口，最终也就成了“哑巴英语”。

元音是构成音节的核心，发音时口腔、舌头、软腭、硬腭共同活动，构成气流通道产生共鸣而发声。所以元音发音时气流不受任何阻碍，同时声带振动，发音响亮。下面举两个例子：

1、/i:/发音步骤

1)舌尖轻触下齿，舌前部向上抬，发音过程中保持向前上方运动。

2)同时嘴唇向两侧拉伸咧开，形成自然的笑容。

3)发音的力度呈现渐弱趋势。

以前讲述这个元音的时候，一般会把它和汉语中的“衣”等同。的确，这样的等号一划，中国学生发音更简单，可是随之而来的后果是英语发音带上了浓郁的中国特色。其实，这个音和中文的“衣”还是有区别的，前者的发音更紧张，更尖锐。

所以，要注意/i:/发音时，嘴唇向两边伸展，两齿稍稍分开。同时舌前部向硬腭尽量抬起，但并不接触硬腭，所以并不产生摩擦。舌尖顶住下齿。在发音的时候，由于微展的唇形，形成了一个非常自然的笑容，这就是为什么老外在照相的时候总是要说“cheese”。

2、/i/发音步骤

1)舌尖轻触下齿，舌前部向上抬起，然后停在一个高度上发音，所以位置比/i:/要略低。

2)口腔微微张开，唇形扁平，上下间距一个小拇指。

注：切忌发成中文的“衣”，也不是/i:/的缩短版本，其实质差别在于舌位是静态的，而非动态的。

也许有时在描述这个前元音的时候，我们会想当然认为它是/i:/的缩短版本，其实这是错误的。首先注意一点，美语中已经没有了长音符号，所以说这两个音是相对独立的，在舌位状况上是不同的。当然，在口形上仍然存在相似之处。

发音时，唇部扁平，但没有发/i:/的时候那么伸展，且口形稍大。舌前部稍向硬腭抬起，但趋势不能太强。

?辅音

虽然我们一直在为“哑巴英语”的现状感到困扰和苦恼，其实我们中国人说英语是具有先天优势的，因为实际上英语中的辅音在汉语中基本上可以找到对应，当然除了个别辅音之外，比如说b，p，f，英语中有，汉语中也有。英语中称做辅音，我们在汉语拼音中叫做声母。

但是，如果我们辨不清辅音和声母的区别，这点优势却又会转化为劣势。举个例子，汉语中声母后面总是有韵母音素，所以从来没有声母单独发音的情况，可是英语中的辅音压迫出声，气流冲破感要强得多。

如果我们仍旧用发汉语拼音声母的习惯去发英语辅音，那么[b]会发成“波”，[p]会发成“坡”，而单词cat(猫)会发成“开特”，这也就是为什么我们中国人说英语总是带有浓郁的中国特色。明白了这点差别之后，从现在开始，我们说英语的时候就一定要注意辅音的气流冲破感，只有这样才能说出一口地道漂亮的美式英语。下面举两个例子：

1、双唇爆破音[p]发音步骤

1)双唇闭紧，口腔里外形成气压差。

2)气流突然送出，无需振动声带([p]是清辅音)。

注：放一张薄纸在唇边，发音时纸会被吹起，当然牛皮纸是吹不动的。

2、双唇爆破音[b]发音步骤

1)双唇闭紧，口腔里外形成气压差。

2)不送气流，发音时振动声带([b]是浊辅音)。

注：不要发成汉语的“波”，发音要干脆，不能带有黏着的元音音素。

双唇闭合，憋住气，然后气流突然冲破唇阻碍，发出爆破的声音。[p]是清辅音，送气但不振动声带，[b]是浊辅音，不送气但是要振动声带。

这两个辅音放在词末时千万不能外加一个元音[?]，否则[p]和[b]发的就像是汉语拼音，拖拖拉拉不够干脆。如单词lip(嘴唇)发音就成了汉语中的“离谱”，这就太离谱了。

1.Fluency&coherence，流畅及连贯一致，这就说明在表达中要能说下去，中心观点一致就可以了，不要卡壳。

2.Lexicalresources，也就是大家的词汇表达方面。

大家在口语中，不要因为一些单词的困难而欲言又止，因为我们是可以用我们会的短语把它解释出来的，达到表意的目的。还可以说明一点，我们准备英语口语复试，高中的词汇量就够了，并不需要特别多的、几万的词汇。因此，大家一定要告诉自己“我可以！”而不是担心词汇量的问题。

给大家举个例子：英国的科学家对英国一个偏远小镇的土著居民的日常用语进行统计分析，发现里面涉及到的单词不过600多个，也就是说，这些人用600个单词活一辈子！

很多同学会问，用不用去提前背点儿单词？建议大家不要这么做，因为单词永远背不完。大家现有的词汇量是可以应对英语口语复试的，需要加强的就是日常口语单词的的使用情况，也就是表达的问题。

3.Grammaticalrange，就是语法。

很多同学一看到语法就会担心会犯错误。再给大家举个例子：英国的BBC电台对在英国生活以上的中国人的口语情况进行了一项调查，这些中国人普遍存在着“他”和“她”分不清的问题，中国人更容易统统表达为“He”。这个可以理解，因为在中文中我们只有一个“ta”的发音，既可以指“他”也可以指“她”，而英语中有专门的词来强调性别。中国人在本能上分不清这两个发音。

大家都会犯错误，包括外国人在口语表达时也会犯错误。所以大家不担心语法错误，在我们的口语面试中，错误肯定会犯，只要你能够说得下去就可以了。

4.Pronunciation&Intonation，也就是发音和语调。

确实，发音和语调能够在复试中成为大家的一个亮点。但是大家可以看一下这个发音和语调位于评分标准的第几个呀？第四个，最后一个。

说到这个，大家肯定知道印度人或日本人说英语很难听，你会很鄙视他们，但是人家印度人或日本人的口语的确比中国人流利。

所以说，发音和语调大家如果有时间，你就练一下，如果没时间，那就不要太在意。总之，对于我们的英语口语复试来说，我们只要说，持续地说就可以了。
