表示请求、允许、许可

表示允许时用can, could, may, might表达。它们没有时态上的差别,只是could比can, might比may语气上要客气。(用can或could表示“许可”,虽然很普通,但在正式、庄重的场合用may。)

总体来说, 这次课堂教学实施比较成功, 达到了公开教学应有的效果。从询问职业开始, 然后通过幻灯片展示各种职业类型, 一直到谈论理想, 整个过程如行云流水, 连贯自然。遵循了面向全体学生、倡导体验参与、开发课程资源等课标理念, 初步培养了学生的交际策略、资源策略等意识。教学任务基本完成, 各层次的学生均有所得。此外, 英语学习氛围宽松、民主、浓厚, 师生情感交融极为成功。

一、课堂优点

1.采用多媒体教学, 形象直观、省时高效。放映关于各种职业的幻灯片, 能激发学生的兴趣, 减少学生对母语的依赖。将新授的语言内容制作成演示文稿, 相比在黑板上板书省时不少, 而且高效。

2.本节课从学生熟悉的句型入手, 引出关于职业的单词, 如teacher, student, worker等, 然后放映幻灯片展示新的职业类型, 如engineer, pilot等, 最后谈论理想:What are you going to be?并进一步讨论:How are you going to do that? 这样的教学流程既科学合理、严谨有序, 又符合学生的认知规律。

3.从旧知识的复习到新知识的呈现, 过渡自然, 富有逻辑性。教师设问:What do you do? What does she/he do?自然引出关于职业的单词, 进而学习新的职业类型。这样的衔接很巧妙、很自然。

二、美中不足

1.教学重点不够突出, 主次不分明。重点是学习关于职业的生词, 还是掌握句型“What are you going to be when you grow up? How are you going to do that?”从教学现象来看无法判断。

2.学生语言输入后未能进行充分有效的输出, 使语言停留在知识状态而没有转化为能力。

3.学生自主学习的空间与时间均不足, 教学尚未充分体现教为主导、学为主体的思想。

4.听、说、读、写四会的基本原则没有很好地遵循, 且忽视了“写”的技能培养。

5.时间分配不够合理, 花在生词教学上的时间几乎等同于句型学习的时间。

三、个人建议

1.在直观呈现生词后, 应让学生通过大量的对话操练来巩固和掌握它们。因为单词是死的, 只有在语境中才能活过来。皮之不存, 毛将焉附!

2.句型“What are you going to be when you grow up? How are you going to do that?”的操练, 应分三个阶段:控制→半控制→全开放。具体做法是:让学生先练习演示文稿中的对话例子, 然后根据所提供的信息编对话, 最后发挥想象畅谈自己的愿望与打算。

3.生词教学控制在15分钟以内, 拿出25分钟的时间学习句型“What are you going to be when you grow up? How are you going to do that?”把教学重点放在这两个句型上。

4.多一些自主, 少一些灌输。注重精讲多练。

同学们可能会奇怪,“be doing”结构不是现在进行时吗?在这一单元中,用现在进行时代表将要发生的动作,表示对未来的计划和安排,译为“我将要…”,“我打算…”。

eg . What’s she doing for vacation ? 她假期要做什么?

She’s babysitting her sister . 她要看她妹妹。

这是我们进入初中以来第一次接触到将来时。这种用现在进行时表示将来动作的用法,实际上在英语中是很常见的。

除了用“What are you doing for vacation ? ”之外,我们还要学习其它几个问句,来帮助我们更好地谈论假期的计划。

1. When are you going ?

你什么时候去呀?

when表示对具体的时刻来提问,所以可以用on Monday ,(在星期一),on the 12th (在12号那天)nextweek (下周)、等等。

eg. I’m going the first week in June . 我将在六月份的第一周去。

2. How long are you staying ? 你要在那里呆多久?

How long 是对表示持续的一段时间来提问。因此回答时,也要用表示一段时间的时间状语,而不是具体时刻。

eg. How long is he staying ?

He’s staying for a week . 他要呆一个礼拜。

或He’s staying until September . 他在那里一直到九月份。

3. Where are you going for vacation ? 你要去哪里度假?

I’m going to Italy (Greece or Spain ).

我要去意大利(希腊或西班牙)。

在教学过程中,我采用了小组合作评价的教学手段,立足根本,从学生的实际出发,注重学生长远的发展。

一、语法方面

本课的重点是过去进行时态以及when、while引导的状语从句,并能用过去进行时态叙述过去发生的事情。难点是过去进行时态的概念、构成及其用法。所以我首先在课堂引入部分由现在进行时态引出过去进行时态的概念及其构成,其次通过看图对话的形式使用过去进行时,从而让学生掌握其用法。在练习中大量多媒体的使用为学生提供了兴趣与动力,使学生在情感和行动上积极参与课堂教育教学的活动。不足之处在于在when、while的区别运用方面,个别学生还需要加强练习。

二、口语交际方面

在平时的教学中,我十分重视听说训练,尝试让学生在口语运用中学会表达他们的个人意见,抒发个人情感。因此,在第三单元中,功能话题是谈论过去的事情,这与学生的个人生活息息相关,只要引导得当,极易激发学生的兴趣,开展关于这一话题的讨论。在准备上课时我主要从以下几个方面入手:采取听录音,回答问题的方式,? 在完成第一项听力任务后,让学生带着问题阅读课文,再提出问题。开展小组合作竞赛的方式,以提问题最多和回答问题最多的小组为优胜组,给予奖励。因而学生一直在积极参与,提出的问题之丰富,超越了老师的想象,体现了他们丰富的想象力和创造力,取得了极佳的效果。事后,我调查了一下,许多同学已在课上背下了课文,课文内容耳熟能详。

三、多媒体辅助课堂教学,有助于提高教学的效果。

多媒体能使整个教学过程表现为声、图、文并茂,使声音、图像、文字的呈现更自然。为此,在课堂上,教师应该为学生创造学习氛围,让学生时常感到成功感和成就感,以便进一步激发学生学习的内在动力。在本堂课中我注意让发音较标准的同学多朗读,让思维敏捷的同学先回答问题,让善于观察的同学多纠正错误,让反应慢的同学多回答低难度问题。尽量使每个同学多动脑、多动口、多动手。

四、情感态度方面

恒心和毅力是学习中不可缺少的意志品质。

在教学过程中,使用小组合作评价方式我收获很大,但也有许多不足,例如:

1、学生的参与度不均衡

一节课下来,一部分学生都能积极投入到课堂教学中来,并积极举手发言。课堂气氛比较活跃,调动了大部分学生听课的积极性,因此合作教学对提高学生实际的语言交流能力、以及与他人的合作能力有很大的促进作用。但很明显的,语言表达能力强的学生参与的机会相对要多,代表小组汇报的机会也多,而另有一些学生却习惯于当听众,被动地接受别人的观点。很少发表自己的个人意见,也就是说在小组合作学习中学生的参与度不均衡,而这部分学生主要是学习困难生。

2、个别学生的合作不主动

教师在开展教学活动时,个别小组出现“冷清”的场面,这些学生只顾自己独立思考,停留在独立学习的层次上,没有发挥合作学习的优势,使合作流于形式。出现上述情况,从合作学习的参与者——教师的角度分析主要是教师的设计和引导不恰当、或小组的编排不够合理等。从合作学习的参与者---学生的角度分析,主要是学生还没有掌握基本的合作技能,或者合作意识淡薄,角色的落实不到位,或合作能力不强,合作精神不够。因此作为教师既要注意到每个合作小组成员的合理编排,又要注意到自己教学内容的设计、话题的趣味性以及如何把学生的积极性真正的调动起来。

3、在课后引导部分,我把学生分为若干小组,一个学生描述他或她当天早些时候所作的事,再由其他学生使用when、while说出自己在同一时间里所做的事,进行小组口语训练活动,效果很理想。

通过对本单元的教学反思,我从中领悟到了一种思想,一种理念,那就是优化课堂教学,提高课堂效果。从教几年,真是越来越能体会“教学是一门艺术”这句话啦!抓考试成绩和提高授课艺术还真不完全是一回事儿……抓质量的话可能通过平时的巧塞加硬塞还能达到一定效果,可真正在一节新授课上要不讲究一点趣味性或艺术性,不仅学生不爱听,自己都觉得没精打采,而且底气不足啊!本节课虽是经过认真思考,认真备课,还请教了师傅,课还是上的不尽人意,惭愧啊!

静思本节课的环节设计与学生的课堂表现及课后作业质量,有如下思考:

一、要以一种认真和负责的态度对待一切事情。记得以前上课,每次在上课前都会心慌,或因为课备的匆忙,或因为对教学流程心中没有明细的思路……但是经过了充足的准备,上课之前对自己要教授的每一个环节和设计每一环节的目的都很清楚,心中就不那么没着没落了。

二、教学之漫漫长路,可学可研究的还太多。我的教学中并没有什么固定的模式,往往是随时就课本内容而灵机设计得教学程序,不像前辈们那样能针对每种课型都能胸有成竹地有一套自己的教法。因此平日里的备课时间是花了不少,可效果不全都好。

三、备课中备学情是最为重要的环节之一。在备课中我虽有设计到八年级学生的大致学习能力,但未具体到我班,而且把学生的理解能力估计的偏高了点(这也是我的教学中不少次碰到的问题)。像今天教授的内容为阅读篇,我觉得里面知识点也不多,生单词也不多,理解翻译起来应该蛮简单的,可不少的句子还是难住了我的学生们。再比如在导入部分设计得Mary’s busy morning,我觉得这是以前谈过的话题,变换一种形式应该是小事儿一桩,可学生们却被我的例子给套住了,我们师生一起干急了一把。当然这也反映出我灵活处理课堂的能力欠缺。

四、常说“台上一分钟,台下十年功”,一点没得假啊。像使用学案和使用全英文教学在平时用的太少,导致一些学生在上课时摸不着头脑,个别后进生根本跟不上。在以后为了提高课堂效率,要经常使用教案。再比如学习阅读篇时,以往总是逐句逐句地翻译导致他们养成了依赖,平时的“读文章回答问题”都是口头回答,难免有学生浑水摸鱼,可今天的笔头答题使不少学生犯了难。所以,我的理解是在以后要争取让平时的课堂和公开课一个模式,让每节课都像公开课似地,那教学就真的到一定的境界了。

五、课堂时间分配要合理,前松后紧的教学模式会让学生也跟着紧张,有蜻蜓点水的感觉。今天的授课中尽量做到了据学生的学习状况适时调整教学进度,因此最后的操练环节给予学生展示的机会太少了,而恰好不少学生有点上不了台面,需要这样的训练机会,这只有在以后的教学中找准标高点。

六、让学生养成勤思勤问的好习惯。要鼓励学生敢于问问题,今天课堂上提问的反而是中上层学生,不少学生就是碍于情面,很多问题在一知半解的情况下被冷处理了,以后的教学中要随时关注这些学生的学习状况。

七、困惑:平时里教学既要照顾优生采用全英文教学,又要考虑到后进生采用汉语随声翻译,因此也浪费了不少时间,这样合适吗?公开课上尽量全英文的教学让半数学生只能通过观察别人的行动而跟着忙活

许多英语老师或许都有此感叹:学生所学的英语知识与我们的实际生活似乎总有那么一段距离,好像很难做到“言行一致”!其实在不少英语课上,只要教师用一些心思,想一些点子,找到书本知识与实际生活中相似的切入口,完全可以体现任务型教学的真实性,实用性和功能性。在教学Unit3.这一课时中,我给学生安排了一些课堂前的准备活动。然后召集了几名学生来做记者调查刚刚学生的活动情况。我随即教学了过去进行时:What were you doing when the bell rang? I was looking at the blacdboard…等句型让他们分组练习。学生学习并分组练习,表演。当然,此时,我要求其余学生认真听,听这一组学生的对话中是否有误。如此学生在课堂表演中正确掌握了有关“was/were doing”的用法。

由于在课堂上我创设了情景,因此学生很感兴趣,参与的积极性很高,课堂气氛十分活跃。有两三个小组的学生都在全班同学面前表演,我根据各小组表演的情况分别给予表扬 “Well done ” “Very good” 等等,让参与的学生都有了一种成功感和被认可的感觉。“学中用,用中学”是我们教师一直提倡的观点。本节课所涉及的知识点(谈论过去的经历)贴近学生的日常生活,并让学生体验到被认同感和使用英语所能获得的成功感,获得了初步运用英语的能力,为真实交际打下基础。在本节课中,教师实际上是“导演”,对学生提出角色体验的要求,并通过示范活动让学生体会到中西方文化的差异。使学生始终带着一种新鲜感和好奇心去学习、理解所学的英语,由此也达到了这一堂课的教学目标。

我想英语课堂教学应更加需要情趣、体验、多维和互动,由教师的讲授型向学生的探究型学习转变。同时教师要会欣赏学生,激发并保持学生的学习兴趣。要让学生学会自己去解决问题,让他们在亲身体验

中学会知识,并培养口头表达能力。

课改给了作为教师的我们一定的压力,唯有不断总结、创新和反思,才会使我们的英语教学工作更上
