英语小品剧本 篇2

现行的高中英语课本 (人民教育出版社出版) 出现了剧本这一体裁, 但关于英语剧本教学方面的介绍极为有限, 如果按照常规的阅读课形式进行课堂教学, 把重点放在掌握细节和分析人物的性格特征上, 学生难以实践和体验剧本中的语言;如果按照常规口语课形式进行课堂教学, 剧本中的文学语言无疑有别于日常口语交际, 所以这两种形式的课堂教学都难以揭示英语剧本的特点, 因而也就难以发挥其对英语学习的促进作用。为此, 笔者提出英语剧本教学的一种途径, 即让学生了解故事情节, 指导学生进一步品味剧本语言, 分析人物性格, 再创作和表演 (周丽敏, 2001) (包括时间、地点的设置、舞台说明、语言组织、人物心理变化、剧情发展) 等一系列的活动, 由学生自编自演短剧, 培养学生的创造能力、想象能力和表演能力, 让学生充分享受参与的乐趣、表演的乐趣以及成就感, 从而对学生的自主英语学习产生积极的影响。

二、教学活动设计示例

现以SEFC Book1 Unit 15中的The Necklace为例, 探讨高中英语剧本的教学方法。

Step 1 Lead-in

Suppose you borrowed a bike, a CD player, an electronic dictionary or sth.else from your friend and then you lost it.

Have you ever experienced such an embarrassed situation?

What would you do?How would you explain it to your friend?And how would your friend react?

Can you show us just as what you and your friend said and did at that time once again?

【设计说明】朗读前活动较好地体现了开放性的特点, 为学生施展表演才华留出了足够的空间, 有利于调动全体学生的学习积极性, 培养其合作与参与的意识。同时, 活动内容与形式紧扣阅读主题, 为学生顺利阅读戏剧The Necklace做好了铺垫。

Step 2 Understanding the plot (梳理情节)

Now let’s see what the unlucky woman, Mathilde, did when she met such a situation.

1.Skimming.

(1) Find out how many scenes there are in the play.

(2) Find out how many characters are mentioned in the play and who they are.

2.Scanning.

Listen to the tape and complete the following chart.

【设计说明】通过播放课文录音, 让学生了解剧中人物及整个剧情发展, 快速获取主要信息。在此过程中, 教师有意识地引导学生预测剧情的发展, 如在播放第三个场景中, 教师可设计一些问题:

What do you think will the couples do after they found the necklace was lost?

How would Mathilde explain it to her friend?

Would Mathilde tell her friend the truth?

Did her friend learn the truth?etc.以引导学生融入剧情, 为后面的编演短剧奠定基础。

Q:Why didn’t Jeanne recognize Mathilde at first?How did Jeanne feel then?引导学生去分析人物语言, 以准确地把握好语气、语调等, 再让学生在朗读中感悟语言。

Scene 2

M:It can’t be true, Pierre!

M:Oh Pierre, how wonderful!But I don’t think we can go.I haven’t got an evening dress for the ball!

P:Does that matter?Can’t you just wear aflower instead?

M:No, I couldn’t do that.Everybody else will be wearing jewellery.I can’t be the only woman who isn’t wearing jewellery.

M:…I’ll go and see her on Friday after Iget the new dress.

让学生通过赏析剧中人物Mathilde的话, 使学生知道怎样从赏析的角度去总结人物的性格特征, 看出她虚荣、爱美的本性。从学生的总结中, I can see a vain but honest Mathilde.说明学生不仅能从字面上理解, 而且能把握其深层含义, 深刻地领悟作者的语言艺术和思想内涵。通过分角色朗读, 让学生在读中去分析、理解、概括, 形成“读—思—悟”的基本过程, 探究语言特色。

Scene 3鼓励学生想象、预测故事情节, 并复述故事, 让学生体会人物的心理变化。

【设计说明】通过声情并茂的朗读 (注意发音、语调、音韵、语气、停顿、表情、动作) (石儒居博士) , 分角色朗读、扮演及肢体动作来表达人物心理, 让学生在朗读中感悟, 在讨论中加深感悟。

Step 4 Creating and acting (创作及表演)

1.Find a character that you are interested in and play the role just as you are were the person.

Requirements:

(1) First collect supporting facts from the text by yourselves.

(2) Then share your ideas with your classmates.

【设计说明】通过讨论交流自己感兴趣的人物形象, 以便更深刻、准确地把握人物特征, 并对学生提出“言必有据”的要求, 这也是阅读理解中必需的。

2.Continue the story and try to act it out!

Scene 1:Mathilde who looked very old, met her old friend Jeanne in the park.

Scene 2:In their home, Pierre Loisel, told his wife, Mathilde that they were invited to an important ball.

Scene 3:In the park, Mathilde continues to tell Jeanne her story.

Scene 4:In their home, the couple found the necklace was lost.

Scene 5:Mathilde comes back home to tell her husband about the truth.

Can you add some stage directions?Setting time, place, narrator, etc?

(2) How did she/he look like?

(3) What about her/his feeling later?

【设计说明】通过小组分配任务和分配角色, 如导演组、演员组 (角色安排宜多, 分组轮流演出) 、旁白 (较难, 可由教师或程度较好的学生担任) 、道具服装、场地、灯光音效、演出时间和地点、彩排、正式表演安排, (石儒居博士) 再创作和表演, 鼓励学生学习作者语言运用的技巧, 根据玛蒂尔德和皮埃尔的人物形象, 创设情境, 让学生通过合理的想象, 改编或拓展延伸故事, 创作并表演英语短剧, 这是剧本学习的精华所在。

3.Evaluation/Assessing

【设计说明】通过评价和自我评价, 使学生在知识、技能、心理、社会及文化等各个层面都有所提高, 促进个人的成长。

Step 5 Homework

Encourage students to read the original novel The Necklace in their spare time.

[设计说明]由于课文是以故事梗概或缩写的形式呈现, 如果教师能简单介绍名著的背景及其作者, 则容易唤起学生探究的热情和阅读原著的欲望, 使他们在阅读中领悟语言的魅力和了解西方的文化。

三、教学反思

笔者在剧本教学实践中, 有如下反思:

(1) 英语学习应强调内容、思想、情感的分享与沟通, 并且由角色扮演及肢体动作来表达语意, 进而让学习活动更具自然、生动与趣味化 (石儒居博士) 。剧本教学是一种非常有效的方式。

(2) 教师在关注学生对语言的感悟时, 应强调感悟的过程, 不过分计较感悟的结果 (黄钊莲) 。在整个学习活动中, 教师要珍惜学生的求异思维, 鼓励学生提出问题, 发表意见和看法。这样可以切实提高学生的素养。

(3) 在分组时, 教师应尽量考虑学生各方面的因素, 如学生的个性、学习风格和与同学的关系等, 如教师可以安排性格内向又不善于主动发言的学生与性格直爽又能扮演提问者的学生同组。这是对生性害羞或是自信心不足的孩子给予莫大的帮助。

(4) 除剧本The Merchant of Venice外, 剧本教学还可类推于其他故事类阅读教学。

(5) 剧本教学受到多方面因素的制约, 如耗时长、使用道具繁多, 还有适用程度不同等等。在运用方面, 应根据具体情况而定。

摘要:本文是英语剧本教学的一次尝试, 文章以The Necklace的教学为例。通过指导学生感悟人物语言, 分析剧情发展, 领会作品的思想内容和艺术情趣, 鼓励学生结合人物心理和性格特征, 通过合理的想象, 创造性地运用文学语言, 来探讨英语剧本的教学方法并进行反思。

“小品剧教学法”教学模式在具体实践中,主要由四个步骤构成,即“整合教材——创设情境——尽情表演——知识检测”。

教学步骤一:整合教材

小品剧剧本来自于教材,但又不拘泥于教材。通过它在教材基础上进行重新整合和创新,从而起到吸引学生、教育学生和更易于学生学习英语的作用。在重新整合教材时,首先要认真分析每课的知识点和整套书的知识网,熟悉教学目标和教学重难点。了解教学内容分清重难点是得以正确处理教学材料的前题,正如我们的常规教学一样,正确分析清楚教学内容是学好一节课的前题;其次初步选择情境主题编写剧本,拟定情境的主题及故事发展路线。突出的教学内容,体现学生的主体地位,让学生在学习小品剧和表演小品剧的过程中愉快地体验英语,有效率地学习英语。另外,针对教学内容选择或编写戏剧内容,要在学生所熟悉的范围内,应易于学生理解,故事情节要清晰化、简单化、有趣生生动化,这些因素都会直接影响到学生对小品剧的兴趣与课堂教学效果。最后,小品剧的语言要针对小学生的认知水平而进行适当调整,难度是否适中,长度是否恰当,语言要简洁,重点掌握的词句要多次重复。

笔者通过设置有趣的情景,把枯燥的对话编成有趣又教育意义的戏剧,在表演过程中,反复出现本课要掌握的句型。学生在表演的过程中,愉快地学习了本课的新知识。

教学步骤二:创设情境

创设小品剧相对应的剧情背景是引导学生进入角色的催化剂。在剧情背景的创设中,可以没有复杂的道具,没有美丽的背景,也可以没有华丽的装束,重要的是在课堂中学生自创的生活化的语言、激情大胆的表演和本课的重点知识,课堂中所有的东西都可以是课堂情境剧的表演资源。正是有了这个展现自我的平台,学生才能够在其中挖掘自己的潜力,充分训练学生的语言综合能力。

如在PEP 五年级下册Unit2 My Favourite Season.PartBLet's talk中重点让学生学习这些句型:What is your favourite season?Which season do you like best?Why do you like…? Because I can…笔者通过把讲台设置成一旅游公司的服务前台,学生是旅客,老师是导游,在课室的不同的角落贴上图片设置成不同的地点,带着“旅客”们开始了旅行社推出的国际旅行路线的旅游套餐。这是本次小品剧的剧情发展中的起因部分,剧情发展到高潮时是通过课件和道具呈现“旅客”们碰到了天外来客——外星人,然后和外星人一起去环球旅游,在旅游的过程中经历了四季的变更并操练要掌握的语言内容。在戏剧表演的过程中,调动了学生参与课堂教学的认识,学生由被动听转变成主动学,使全体学生都参加活动,培养合作精神,让每个学生都能学会,激发学生的学习兴趣,提高学生学习的独立性,突出了学生的主体地位。同时也培养了学生热爱自然,保护环境的美好情操。

教学步骤三:尽情表演

“小品剧教学法”围绕的是教学这个中心,主要以学生的参与为主,通过剧情表演把学生带到富于童话色彩或生活的英语学习世界。让学生在情景中操练英语,教师作为学生的“引导者”要从台前退到幕后,从“演员”转变为“导演”或“观众”,引导学生尽情表演。这样一来,教学的语言输出与输入才可以达到平衡,学生掌握的语言技能才能得以锻炼、发挥和巩固,充分培养学生的语言综合能力。如在PEP 五年级下册Unit 3 My birthday Part BLet's talk中教学的重点是:Who has a birthday in ……?Me.

笔者通过设定天鹅妈妈根据生日找孩子的剧情,让学生表演的过程中学习句型。在剧情呈现阶段,教师是演员,把生动有趣的故事表演出来,让学生在图片、老师的表情和身体语言等方面理解剧情。在学生对剧情初步认识时,教师带领学生一起表演这个小品剧,待学生对剧情有进一步的认识后,教师要从台前退到幕后,把课堂的自主权交给学生,让学生在表演中学习与他人合作,并在表演过程中学习目标语言。

牛:What?

妖:Zixia has a means to test her lover.If you can pass it, I will shout up!

紫:I’ll kill you if you come closer!至:You should kill me!Kill me!I’d found my best love, but I didn’t treasure her.I left regretful after that.It’s the ultimate pain in the world.Just cut my throat, please don’t hesitate!If God can give me a chance, I will tell her there words.“I love you”.If God wants to give a time limit, I’ll say this love will last 10 thousand years!

吴小亮:各位现场的观众朋友、电视机前的观众朋友们,大家下午好,欢迎大家如约来到江苏卫视第250期《非诚勿扰》的节目现场,我是主持人吴孟非。本期的非诚勿扰是宿豫中专校汽车工程系教师专场。下面有请今天晚上4位美丽的单身女生闪亮登场(音乐《百鸟朝凤》奏响,女嘉宾依次上场,走台、招呼观众,就位)印象中好像有两位不是单身女生。入位后主持人问:1号,你是单身吗?

1号(夏朝凤):我老公去教育局开会了。现在我单身

吴小亮:2号,你是单身吗?

2号(季苏利):主持人,我老公出差了,这个月我单身。

(主持人显得疑惑,1号女嘉宾小声说对主持人说:我俩是导演安排的托,反正都是骗人的,没有事!)

吴小亮:看来这两位是偷跑出来的,下面向大家介绍4位女嘉宾的基本资料。(主持人每介绍一位女嘉宾,向观众挥手致意)1号夏朝凤小姐,汽车系教学主任,德育老师,2号季苏利小姐,汽车系计算机老师,3号姚敏敏小姐,专业老师。4号王珊珊小姐,汽车系专业老师。各位观众,台上四位佳丽都是该系的精英,听说她们的择偶标准是“宁缺毋滥 ”。下面请4位女嘉宾亮灯(女嘉宾各自亮灯)

1一位男嘉宾上场。(《新闻联播》背景音乐响,女嘉宾击掌等待,男嘉宾上场,臧波)

臧波:4位美丽的女嘉宾、主持人、大家晚上好,我叫臧波,来自大洋彼岸洛杉矶——的对面江苏宿豫中等专业学校汽车工程系。

吴小亮:绕了半天又从彼岸回到了此岸。欢迎你,臧波老师,看一下台上的4位女嘉宾,选出你的心动女生,(道具,牌子(1234),仔细观察,最后选定一位(向观众展示,像运动员入场))有信心把她带走吗?

臧波:我有信心把女嘉宾全部带走。

吴小亮:全部带走!你以为你是“房叔”啊?你家房子够住吗?。。。抱歉,你家是搞房地产的,我把这茬忘了。好了,臧波老师,请谈一下你对爱情的见解。

臧波:其实我知道,在我人生当中没有过几次感动,当感动来临那一刹那,我可能会迎着我的光辉的思想,走向我人生的那一个尽头。我在彷徨中,之所以会这样,(面向女嘉宾)因为是你们带给我一种感动,感谢你们给我重新做人的机会。。。不是,开始做一个大人的机会。

吴小亮:(打断臧波的表白)好了好了,你的见解很有诗意,看得出来,男嘉宾是带着一颗感恩的心来的。

臧波:因为我天天吃食堂,有点吃烦了,我想有个家。

吴小亮:原来是这样,希望男嘉宾今天能成功带走一位,4位女嘉宾请考虑。(稍作片刻4盏灯全灭)

吴小亮:1号灭灯的理由。

1号(夏朝凤):不好意思,男嘉宾,你很优秀,但你的海拔跟我的要求有差距。

吴小亮:看来1号好女嘉宾是嫌男嘉宾不够高,2号灭灯的理由

2号(季苏利):我觉得他脑门不够亮,我喜欢脑门亮亮的,像主持人那样晚上走路不用打电筒。

臧波:这个我可以做到,只要你愿意,我光头都可以的。

吴小亮摸摸自己的头:没想到2号女嘉宾还有这个爱好。我知道,脑门亮看来也是优点,可惜薛堂主任两年前就从我们汽车工程系调走了。

吴小亮:3号灭灯的理由

3号(敏敏):主持人,你看我这样的条件,选他合适吗?

吴小亮:怎么不合适?

3号(敏敏):万一哪天我们发生了冲突,我怕他吃亏。而且我感觉他太老了。吴小亮:4号灭灯的理由

4号(王珊珊):说实话,一开始我也考虑留下灯,但仔细观察,发现男嘉宾太温柔,不像个男人。而我又太阳刚了。咱俩不般配。

吴小亮:抱歉,1号男嘉宾臧波老师牵手失败,(退场)

臧波:(离台之前)其实2号女嘉宾的要求我完全可以做得到,长毛难,褪毛那不是很容易,看来还得继续吃食堂!)准备退场转而回头:面向主持人和众女嘉宾唱:《法海你不懂爱》:法海,你不懂爱,雷峰塔会掉下来;法海,你你你你真的不懂爱!

吴小亮:有请2号男嘉宾上场(《新闻联播》背景音乐响,女嘉宾期待,并鼓掌,2号男嘉宾出场)(4盏灯都重新开亮)

宋广辉:大家好,我叫宋广辉,今年30岁,月薪3000万。

吴小亮:不是,宋主任你今年30岁!怎么看上去你都接近60岁呀!

宋广辉:主持人,我20年前就这样,耐看。

吴小亮:宋广辉老师,看一下台上的4位女嘉宾选出你的心动女生(非常仔细观察)

宋:我看好2号。

吴小亮:你怎么不按套路出牌呀,我们要举牌,心动女生放心里就行了。(2号季苏利示意要发言)主持人示意2号女嘉宾可以提问。

2号(季苏利):男嘉宾你好,你刚才说你月薪3000万,咱都是一个学校老师我们月薪才3000,你怎么是3000万?

宋广辉:没错呀,我比你多一块,不是3000嘛,再加上one吗?one就是1(做手势),“3000”加“ONE”就是3000万。看来2号女嘉宾的英语还不如我(2号女嘉宾听完解释立即灭灯)

吴小亮:是这么个3000万,吓我一大跳。。。还有3盏灯为你亮着,男嘉宾请再把你的情况向女嘉宾做详细介绍。

宋广辉:(拿出准备好的材料介绍)本人姓名宋广辉,性别男,爱好女。特长就是在我校体育老师中我英语说得最好。(1、4号听后灭灯)

吴小亮:1号灭灯的理由

夏朝凤:我离他这么远都闻到他身上的烟味,我正是反感抽烟才来这里的。吴小亮:4号灭灯的理由

王珊珊:都是一个系的,我怕男嘉宾不好意思下手。(兰花指)

(台上只有3号女嘉宾灯还亮着)

吴小亮:3号女嘉宾,看来你对男嘉宾很欣赏。

3号敏敏:不好意思,主持人,我这灯怎么总是灭不掉呀,是不是坏了!给我换个电筒吧。

吴小亮:不好意思。(转向宋)2号男嘉宾牵手失败。

(老宋很是沮丧,远处张丽美老师喊:“老宋,老宋,来家吃饭了。”并走上舞台)

张丽美:老宋,你跑来这里干嘛的?(老宋支支吾吾不好说,张走到节目现场,知道大概,回头大声呵斥:“咱儿子今年都18了,你说你还想干什么?”(两人拉拉扯扯退场)

吴小亮:(面向老宋退场的方向)雷峰塔会掉下来,老宋你真的不懂爱!吴小亮:各位观众,已经两位男嘉宾都牵手失败了,不知道下一位能否给大家带来惊喜,好,有请下一位男嘉宾。(奏响《新闻联播》音乐,田野上)田野:4位女嘉宾,主持人,大家晚上好!我是来自泗阳的田野,今年35岁,已属大龄单身了,现在宿豫中专汽车系任职。

吴小亮:欢迎你,田校长!你是泗阳人怎么想到在宿豫找你的另一半?

田野:宿豫是个好地方,人杰地灵,山美、水美,人也美,我已经爱上了这片土地,她已成为我的第二故乡。

田野:我心目中的她应该是属于小鸟依人型的,纯情的、美丽的、充满活力的。(4号女生举手要求发言,主持人允许)

4号(王珊珊):男嘉宾你好,请说出你对爱情的理解。

田野:爱情就是你心中想着我,我心中牵挂着你,春天我会给她送上玫瑰、夏天我会为她献上冰激凌,秋天我带她去郊游,冬天我会用我的胸膛去温暖她那双小手。

4号(王珊珊):男嘉宾我想问你一个问题,你家是泗阳人,如果你看好的女生不愿意随你去泗阳,怎么办?

田野:这个不是问题,只要我们能处得来,真心相爱,倒插门也是可以考虑的。这学校附近很多小区我很看好,如果今天牵手成功的话,我打算就把房子定在珠江花园。

吴小亮:田校长考虑很全面啊,不过这一轮4号女嘉宾的问题好像很多,田校长!现在仍然有4盏灯为你亮着,恭喜你进入了男生权利,上去灭掉两盏灯,回到这里来!

(田野上场灭掉了1、2、3的灯)

(牵手走到舞台中央)

姗姗(对着田野):看到你我就觉得你是我的白马王子

珊珊小姐,我代表江苏卫视和中央电视台问你一个问题:你幸福吗?

珊珊:我姓王,我是个伪娘,我要感谢你们栏目给我这个机会,让我找到了人生的另一半。

吴小亮(面向田野):请问田校长,你幸福吗?

田野:你说呢?(语速放慢)
