随着我国在各领域与国际接轨, 与国际交流的机会也越来越多, 因此, 翻译这一行业逐渐被大家所熟知, 很多英语专业的学生甚至选择翻译作为职业。针对这一变化, 我们大学英语四级考试于2013年12月的考试中, 将翻译部分考试内容由单句范围改为段落翻译, 内容涵盖政治、经济、商务、文化、教育等领域。难度较之前题型相比, 有显著提升。这一题型变化, 标志着大学英语四级测试的重点由应试能力转向交际应用能力, 对学生英语语言和文化交际能力综合性的要求更高。同样, 这对大学英语教师而言, 提出了更高的教学要求, 也让我们反思在大学英语教学中翻译教学的方式及其重要性。

2 大学英语翻译教学现状及原因

翻译教学一直以来都是大学英语教学中的薄弱环节, 以《希望英语I》一书为例, 每册书共设置8个单元, 每单元需要花费8到10个课时, 但关于翻译的练习每单元仅有10道练习题, 翻译技巧的学习并未涉及。大多数大学英语教师也仅仅将翻译练习作为众多练习中的一个, 导致非英语专业学生的翻译能力极差, 无法达到四级考试的基本要求。造成这一现状的原因有以下几点。

2.1 教学上重视不够

从上文提到的教科书的编排上就可以看出来, 我国的非英语专业教学中, 一向以阅读理解能力的培养为主, 每单元的教学内容中, 多以阅读篇章的形式出现。这就导致了各大高校在平时教学、考试和培训中均以阅读理解为主。

2.2 教学方法落后

翻译教学与英语教学其他环节相比, 有自己的独特性。翻译是一门以实践为主, 辅以大量训练的学科, 然而, 传统大学英语教学中, 仍然把翻译当作阅读理解来讲, 忽视了学生的自主性, 也并未安排大量练习, 让学生无法独立思考, 在实践中提高自己的翻译水平。

2.3 学生水平有待提高

与英语专业学生相比, 非英语专业学生英语的综合能力相对而言较差, 而翻译又是英语学习几项技能中较为综合的一项, 对学生的水平要求很高。在缺乏相关指导以及大量练习的情况下, 翻译能力低下有情可原。

2.4 翻译测试较少

由于重视程度不够, 再加上翻译的出题范围较广, 很多高校的考试鲜有翻译题型。缺乏此类测试, 导致教师和学生都不重视翻译能力的培养。从而导致大部分非英语专业学生在四级考试中, 翻译部分得分较低。为了改变这一现状我们需要从根本上重视并采取适当措施。

3 英语四级考试翻译题型对教学提出的要求及相应对策

前文提到了我们高等教育根据国家发展的新形势, 深化翻译教学, 改善翻译教学质量, 从而满足新时期我国对于人才培养的需求。我国大学英语四级考试在2007年增添了翻译部分题型, 新题型主要是汉译英, 较英译汉而言, 具有一定难度, 而最初的题型是把缺失的句子补充完整, 翻译部分仅占卷面成绩的5%。而2013年四级改革中, 又将翻译部分的难度加大, 由之前的单句翻译变成了段落翻译。从这一改革可以看出来, 是时候反思以往的翻译教学模式了。

3.1 注重非英语专业学生语言基础知识的培养

翻译对考生的语言能力要求较高, 非英语专业学生必须熟练掌握英语语言中的基本规则, 固定搭配等, 才有可能具备较高的翻译能力。教师应当在平时的教学中加入对语言技巧的讲解和练习, 让学生在英语语言的应用上更加游刃有余。

3.2 加强非英语专业学生翻译技巧的培养

很多学生认为, 只要扩大自己的词汇量, 翻译能力自然就会提高。其实不然, 翻译是一门实践性学科, 需要一定的技巧指导。首先, 汉英语言在词汇句法上的差异很大, 如果不了解英汉词汇和句法上的差别, 很容易翻译出不地道的内容。其次, 翻译其实是有步骤的, 如果没有教师的专业指导, 很多学生都不了解, 从而导致理解表达不到位。

3.3 加强非英语专业学生文化素养的培养

根据这几年四级考试中翻译部分内容, 我们发现大部分篇章属于文化和历史类的。因此, 加强非英语专业学生在东西方文化方面的培养十分关键。教师需要在平时的教学中, 给学生渗透中西方文化的差异, 并有意识地指导学生存储相关词汇和表达。

3.4 各高校应在指导思想上重视翻译教学

学校应从政策角度重视翻译教学, 在非英语专业学生的教学中, 加强学生翻译能力的培养。例如, 开设有关翻译理论和技巧的讲座和培训, 加大翻译实践的分量。在原有翻译练习的基础上, 增加段落翻译, 内容可涵盖文化、经济、历史等方面;在平时考试中也设置翻译题型, 帮助学生养成翻译的良好习惯。

4 结语

国家大学英语四级考试翻译部分题型的改革给我们带来了很多启示。其中, 顺应时代发展, 响应国家教育改革, 各高校及大学英语教师应认真反思和研究翻译教学的改革模式, 为国家培养出更多具有综合素质的人才。

课程改革对大学英语课堂教学提出了新的要求，文学鉴赏进入大学英语课堂已经成为了不可逆的趋势。文学鉴赏的进入可以帮助学生更好的锻炼思维能力和逻辑能力，对学生的交流表达能力也可以起到积极的促进作用。通过文学鉴赏可以对学生的文学素养产生积极的促进作用帮助学生更好的理解和体会各种文化。为了更好的将文学鉴赏带进大学英语课堂，教师应该打破传统的教学方式采用新的、符合时代的教学手段和学生沟通。

1、改变传统的教师角色定位

为了更好的将文学鉴赏带进大学英语课堂教师首先应该改变自己的角色定位。在传统的教学过程中间教师扮演的是传道授业的权威式角色。学生对教师虽然尊敬崇拜但是天然的教师和学生之间就会存在有一种隔阂。因此学生和教师交流起来就会有一定的阻碍。因此，教师应该改变传统的角色定位将自己变成一个引导者和点拨者。让学生成为自己学习的主人。对于学习内容教师只要将其介绍给同学们然后让学生自己的领会和解读内涵。只有在学生遇到难以解决的问题的时候教师才会出现进行指点和帮助。这样一来学生对所学内容的掌握程度就会更高，理解的也就会更加的深刻。其次，角色定位的改变可以帮助教师促进和学生之间的关系让学生和教师交流的更加顺畅，可谓是一举两得。

2、欣赏

2.1、改变教学方式，教导学生欣赏

要想然学生学会鉴赏文学首先就要帮助学生学会欣赏。不同的文化会孕育产生不同的文学。这些文学作品有时候跟我们的传统文学风格迥异、大相径庭，所以学生在理解的时候就会存在有很大的困难。所以在教导学生鉴赏的时候首先就需要帮助学生进行欣赏。在进行课程讲解的时候教师可以先给学生播放歌曲或者電影进行课堂气氛渲染以帮助调查学生的学习积极性。比如在鉴赏《回家》这篇课文的时候学生理解起来比较困难，因此教师可以在进行课堂教学的时候先给学生放映电影《幸福的黄手帕》帮助促进学生的理解。通过电影学生可以相对来说比较容易的理解文章索要表达的内涵和意义。而且电影教学这种形式可以引起学生的兴趣、调动学生的学习积极性。在欣赏完电影之后在转回头进行文章的赏析就可以说是水到渠成。文章里对主人公性格、心理、肢体动作等内容的描写理解起来相对来说就十分的容易了。

2.2、师生交流讨论促进欣赏

为了更好的帮助学生进行文学鉴赏的学习和掌握，教师应该和学生就一个共同话题进行交流和讨论，在相互交换意见的过程之中教师可以对学生对文章的理解情况有一个具体的掌握，同时对学生的思考和理解方式有更加细腻的接触。比如在欣赏完电影之后教师和学生可以对共同关心的片段和任务进行讨论。对人物的性格和命运以及命运展现的过程进行交流和互动。在这个过程中间学生可以学会教师的思考方式和理解技巧，潜移默化之中学生也就能够学会鉴赏的技巧和方式。

3、借助现代科学技术的帮助

科技的发展促进人类世界日新月异的变化。科技进步所带来的裨益不仅仅体现在经济进步、社会发展的方面，同时也体现在教育方面。科学技术带来的便利大大促进了教育方式的进步和教学手段的不断提高。就文学鉴赏而言，教师可以借助现代科技的帮助更加直观和感性的展现给学生一个文学的世界。

在多媒体的帮助之下教师可以将教学内容以音频、视频的方式放映出来。以这种方式取代传统的文字展现可以更好的调动学生的学习积极性和理解能力，促进教学质量的提高。同时借助多媒体的帮助教师的教学任务在一定程度上也得到了有效的减轻。时至今日已经有大量的文学名著被改编成了电影电视作品。教师在教导相关内容的时候就可以让学生先行观看这些作品以对要学的内容有一定程度上的掌握，然后再进行正式的课堂教学。现代网络的不断发展与革新给学生和教师获得相关的信息提供了便利的条件和可靠的渠道。电影作为相比较而言历史比较短的艺术形式之一能够以轻松简单的方式将历史、人文、科技等在比较短的时间内以比较高的质量展现出来。因此，学生通过电影也可以得到有效的认知提高。

4、合作学习

大学之中学生不仅要学会如何独立思考，培养自己的独立性。同时还要学会相互合作，共同进步。在进行文学鉴赏的学习的时候最好的方法莫过于学生亲自实践一番，这样学生对于文章的思想内涵和主旨才能够更加清晰和深刻的认知。

首先，学生要对作品有一个比较全面的了解。学生可以通过电影电视欣赏和阅读原文等方式进行作品的整体认知。这是学生独立自主学习的内容之一。在这个阶段学生应该学会独立自主学习。在欣赏的基础之上对作品产生自己的认知和理解。然后，是学生之间或者还有教师的相互交流。自主学习之后教师应该组织学生合作起来相互交流自己的想法和观点。让观点之间相互摩擦以碰撞出智慧的火花。通过交流和讨论学生可以收获到更多、更广泛的意见以促进自身的发展。最后，教师可以组织学生就作品中间的某一部分进行角色扮演。在扮演的过程之中要求学生就其自身的理解对角色赋予特征。

总而言之，文学鉴赏对于大学英语课堂的进步有着积极的促进作用。教育工作者应该对其给予足够的重视并给予积极的支持。将文学鉴赏带进大学课堂有各种各样的方式方法，笔者抛砖引玉希望能够供各位同仁参考和借鉴。
