一、在教学中进行环境教育的重要性

21世纪是一个科学技术更加发达、国家间的竞争更加激烈、社会对人的素质要求更高的新世纪。作为跨世纪的中学生除了要有良好的英语学科知识外, 还应当具有高尚的品德和崇高的思想境界。这种思想包括环境意识, 我们可以利用英语教学可培养学生的环境素养。随着人类人口日益增长, 现代工业的迅速发展, 人类不合理的消耗有限自然资源的同时, 也在污染着自己赖以生存的环境。如土地沙漠化、大气污染、水污染、臭氧层空洞的扩大等。因此在英语教学中, 充分利用有效信息进行环境保护意识的培养非常必要。使学生充分认识到人类正在亲手破坏自己赖以生存的地球——生物资源日渐萎缩、生态环境日趋恶化, 物质资源急剧减少, 从而激起学生对环境保护的责任感, 形成环保意识。

中国地大物博, 具有五千年的悠久历史, 名人荟萃, 自然资源丰富, 素有“文明礼仪之邦”之美称。然而自改革开放以来, 西方发达的工业化、现代化的生活方式使许多人心驰神往。甚至有些人美化西方, 认为“西方的月亮比东方的圆”。青少年正是价值观与世界观形成的关键时期, 外语教学内容也是西方文化渗透的一个窗口。对西方文化我们应用批判的眼光, 吸收其精华, 排除其糟粕。培养学生热爱祖国, 民族自豪意识。对此教师在教学中要合理利用教材, 培养学生热爱祖国、热爱家乡的思想情感, 学生在习得语言的同时, 意识到有效利用资源的重要性———有效的充分利用有限的自然资源保护我们的土地, 保护我们的环境。

二、如何在英语教学课堂中进行环保教育

1. 在阅读课中进行环保教育

我们高中教材有许多有关保护地球的文章, 我们可以在课堂上在教授英语知识的同时, 利用多媒体工具对我们现在地球上主要的三大害让学生进一步了解, 学生在学习这一类文章时, 不但上课有了兴趣, 而且印象又深, 不容易忘记所学的内容, 同时学生对环境有了进一步的认识, 增强他们的环保意识, 达到了环境教育的效果。学生兴趣勃勃, 课堂气氛活跃, 学生对这样的环境保护课就学得比较透, 事半而功倍。

在学习Unit 10 The Frighting Nature中, 我们教师可以通过展示一些关于近期汶川大地震的一些图片, 还有海地, 智利和玉树等等的一些地震图片。让学生对地震的危害有了进一步的认识, 还同时得到了一些人道主义的教育。一节课几分钟, 或者几句话的渗透, 好像“润物细无声”的春雨, 把环境教育自然地融入到教学中, 培养了学生对自然环境的关注和保护意识。

2. 在训练作文的教学活动中进行环保教育

在训练学生进行作文练习的时候, 可以采用一些有关环境保护的一些话题, 让学生去收集相关的材料进行写作。这样, 学生对环境保护有了进一步的深刻认识, 既让学生了解到环境保护的重要性, 又能训练了学生的写作技巧。比如让学生写关于环境污染的话题时, 可以先让学生在课后尽可能搜集有关这方面的素材, 如水的过滤、净化、消毒, 垃圾处理和回收等等的信息。然后让学生进行写作, 教师再对学生的作文进行评改, 补充学生们忽略的地方, 在评讲的时候把相关的一些环境保护的知识教给学生, 了明白我们日常生活中处处都存在环境污染问题, 环境保护与我们息息相关。

三、在训练对话的课堂上进行环保教育

在课堂上, 还可以在进行每单元的warming up和speaking时, 让学生就环保用英语讨论有关环保的话题, 诸如“清除白色污染”、“节约水资源”等话题, 让学生互相配合, 完成有关环境问题的讨论。尽情让学生展开想象力, 讨论他们对环保的看法和建议, 对各种的环境污染进行一些改变的设想。

四、结束语

近年来，环境问题已经成为社会的焦点问题，前段时间，《穹顶之下》的播出更是引来全国人民的关注，人们开始意识到环境问题切实关系到我们每一个人。大学生的价值观在一定程度上代表社会知识阶层，他们的言行在一定程度上将影响周围的其他人。因此，要提高青年人的环保意识，就要使大学生拥有高度责任感及环保意识。本文就此问题，对高校大学生的环保意识与环保行为的现状进行分析并提出解决对策。

一、高校大学生的环保意识现状调查及结果

1.调查情况概述

本文以高校在校大学生为调查对象，以问卷的形式，对其环保意识进行相关调查，共收回有效问卷1820份。问卷共设置14道大题来考察大学生环保意识，主要包括下面四个方面：

环境知识：知识知晓度、知识获取来源、主动获取意愿；

环境评价：对生活环境的评价；

环保行为态度：环保行为的参与意愿；

生态环境意识教育：学校开设相关课程及组织相关活动。

2.高校大学生生态环境意识现状及影响因素

（1）高校对大学生环保意识宣传教育不足。调查结果显示大學生获取相关知识的主要途径在一定程度上略有差别。网络是大学生获取科学知识的主要渠道，电视、报刊杂志和学校教育社团活动次之。总体来看，学校教育和社团活动在传播生态环境科学知识方面略有不足，学生对于环境问题严重性并不知晓。

（2）高校大学生对环境保护意识的认知不够。“生活中有哪些较为严重的环境问题”一题反映出大学生对自己周遭的环境总体不太满意，尤其在大气污染、水污染、固体废弃物污染等方面最为严重。但当被问到“我们怎样为保护环境出把力的时候”，85%的学生回答那应该是工厂或者国家的事，仅有18.13%的人认为改变环境现状应该从自身做起。大家都能认识到环境问题的严重性，但是对自我的作用的认识还不够，同时，大学生对环境知识的基本了解程度以及对周遭环境的态度也不容乐观，70%的学生仍然选择在学校餐厅使用一次性方便筷子，而且认为方便筷子的使用并不会对环境造成污染。因此我们看到，单单有生态环境保护意识远远不够，而是要将环境保护意识努力转变为平时的行为习惯。

二、加强大学生环保意识与环保行为的对策

通过对本次调查结果的分析可以发现，虽然大学生较为缺乏环境保护意识，但是高校大学生有较强的环保理念，并且愿意参与到环保公益活动中，因此高校需要在今后的教育、教学工作中，不断督促青年大学生养成保护环境的习惯。

1.高校要充分认识到大学生在环境保护中的重要性

大学生成为21世纪的主力军，他们环保意识的强弱关系到我国的发展进步，也关系到人类的生存和发展，《中国21世纪议程》中明确提出：“要加强受教育者的可持续发展意识的灌输，在大中小学课程中纳入环境、生态、资源和可持续发展的内容，将可持续发展的思想贯穿于从初到高等的整个教育中。”这标志着我国环境教育的进步，同时，高校也要充分认识到大学生在环境保护中的重要性。

2.开设环境保护教育的相关课程

生态环境教育专业的学生，学习过系统的专业课程，有专业的教师指导，各种专业实验室为其提供了实验场所，在理论学习与生态实践方面都得到了良好的指导。而非生态环境专业的院校，还未将生态环境教育纳入必修课程体系，这导致学生无法构建全面的生态环境知识结构，在知识的理解和接受上存在障碍，自然难以形成良好的生态环境意识。所以高校应开设相关的必修和选修课程，进行基础全面的生态环境教育，根据省市的实际情况和学校所处的环境、学校教育的漏洞，形成具体的教学内容，有目的地进行生态环境教育。有专家指出，教师在讲授环境知识的同时，更要帮助学生意识到环境问题的紧迫性，形成高度的责任感，鼓励学生积极参与到解决问题中去。

3.结合高校学生社团组织多方面促使学生养成环保意识养成

校园是高校学生生活的大环境，作为教育管理者，我们更应该通过活动引导学生提高环保意识。通过新兴网络媒体建立生态环境保护和生态环境意识教育的宣传阵地，通过贴吧、论坛、微博等方式吸引更多的学生参与其中。要因地制宜开展形式多样的生态环境意识教育活动，如各院系之间开展环境生态保护成果展评比，制定本校的生态环境保护规范，加大奖惩力度等。其次可以举办专项讲座、播放相关影片、举办知识竞赛、微电影大赛、环保创意大赛等来营造良好的保护生态环境的氛围，鼓励学生树立资源回收再利用、低碳生活、生态消费等观念。

大家好，我是，今天我给大家演讲的题目是《人间“海市”》，这个“海市”不是指沙漠中阳光折射的幻象，而是指美丽的城市，人间“海市”就是在地球建造美丽的城市。

当人们乘着宇宙飞船，来到宇宙遥望自己的家乡———地球，是那样的晶莹透亮、美丽壮观，而又是一个脆弱的生命太需要人类的保护和珍惜，珍惜地球的自然资源，如果大家继续无节制地去开采地球的自然资源，那么地球难逃毁灭的命运。还有的人贪婪地说：“等地球的资源开采完了，不能搬到其他星球上去居住吗?”现在科学家已经证明了在地球为中心的40万亿千米的范围内，没有适合人类居住的第二个星球，所以这个科学成果打败了人类贪婪的心理。

现在人们到处在破坏地球，砍伐森林，造成水土流失，洪水泛滥，冲垮堤岸淹没了村庄，这是江水、河流、小溪的报应。还有的人们住在河水的上游把垃圾和化学物品倒入水中，让下游的人们饮用后，产生了水俣病，这种病非常厉害。比如说在日本九州熊本县水俣镇就发生过。1950年水俣湾附近的于村中发现一些猫步态不稳，抽筋麻痹，最后跳入水中溺水死亡，当地人谓之“自杀猫”。就连人类也受到了水俣病军团的威胁。继水俣镇1963年，日本新泻市又有大批自杀猫、自杀狗出现。1973年在有明海南部沿岸的有明町等地有发生了水俣病。据报道这三次发病人数共计900人，实际上在日本受害者人数远远地超过了这个数字，仅水俣镇受害居民有1万人左右。同学们难道你们还不知道污染水资源是那么的可怕啊!

不说日本，就说我老家门前有一座桥，桥下有很大的一条河流，以前河水散发着大自然的气息，清澈见底，总能听见洗衣人那美妙的歌声。而现在从那走过时，人们不由自主地捂住鼻子，如果不捂住鼻子，那刺鼻的气味就像“强盗”一样闯进你的鼻子。垃圾多得意地把整条大河堵塞住，大河却变成了慢慢流淌的小溪，有时候小溪也会断流，农民伯伯也没有水浇地，而所有的蔬菜麦田已经干枯而死。我们多么怀念那美丽的绿色，怀念那美妙的歌声，而这又是谁造成的呢?——除了人类还能有谁!难道你们能坐视不管吗?不行，我已经愤怒了。

我呼吁：人类要保护地球!

3、不堵塞河道;

4、不乱排污水、化学物品;

5、垃圾应送到垃圾处理站进行分类处理;

大家好!

从古至今，地球妈妈用甘甜的乳汁哺育了无数的子孙后代，以前，地球上都是一片片的原始森林。地球妈妈把人类哺育大了，本想让人类好好保护她，结果人类却不停的的伤害她。

人类不停的索取地球妈妈的资源，使地球母亲的身体上伤痕累累。我真的为周围的环境感到心痛，我深深的反思：作为人类的下一代的接班人，如果不重视保护环境的重要性，不去增强环保意识，后果将不堪设想。我们既伤害了自己又连累了和蔼可亲的地球妈妈，为此，我决定从我做起保护环境。保护我们赖以生存的美丽家园，做一个勇敢的“环保小卫士”。

In our life，a lot of rubbish，such as waste paper，plastic bottles，batteries and so on，is produced every day . After we learnt the passage MakeOur Environment More Beautiful，we found a lot of rubbish thrown into dustbinscould be recycled in fact during our discussion. So we thought it would bebetter if we could classify rubbish . we told our idea to our teacher and hesupported us very much . We became volunteers to classify rubbish . Firstly wegot three big boxes and put them in a corner of our classroom . One is for wastepaper，one for plastics and Coke cans and the other is for batteries . WithTeachers help，soon all the students took part in the activity of classifyingrubbish .In a month，we collected three boxes of paper，a box of batteries anda box of plastics and Coke cans .We sold them for 28 yuan and bought some youngtrees with the money . We planted the trees around our school . We were allspoken highly of by our school principals. Now we keep on the job and are allproud of improving environment .
