Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities:

The Major role will be TD-SCDMA product management. Responsible for prioritizing customer needs for product decision making. Representing and driving BL view in the region and providing a strong linkage between the BL and CBT/CT. Following up and prioritizing customer requirements. Preparing and driving customer view into the product decision making. Identifying trends and discontinuities in the area technology adoption and analyzing it’s impact to BL portfolio. Helping CBTs to establish longer term strategic cooperation with the customers

Providing Competitor Information from the region to the business line

Identifies, analyses, suggest business solutions to customer in the respective area.

Join in technical team in response to RFI/RFP.

Create new business opportunities by presenting business cases and scenarios to customers.

Provide technical support towards local market unit and end customer.

Able to design, propose and present viable technical solution towards customer.

Upkeep product knowledge as well as development in the respective telecom/infocom industry.

Consolidate and analyze market requirement and trend.

Conduct product and solution presentation as well as consultation for internal and external customer.

Ensure the product plan, product substitution plan and upgrading product plan is updated for the product area responsible.

Requirements:

A Bachlor/Master degree in telecommunication or equivalent.

Experience in TD-SCDMA ,or GSM/(E)GPRS, WCDMA network and network design is an added advantage.

Highly creative in solving problems and able to develop new concepts in giving solutions and recommendations.

Experience in product/solution management or implementation in telecommunications industry and network design.

Strong knowledge on wireless communication technology.
