二、运用多样化的句子结构, 彰显语言功力

高考评分标准强调使用语法结构的数量和复杂性, 鼓励考生尽量使用较复杂的句子结构, 并且对由此产生的错误采取了宽容的态度。如果恰当运用倒装句、强调句、非谓语动词等句型, 就可使文章化平淡为生动, 加强语气, 使文章更具吸引力, 让阅卷老师眼前一亮。

1. 倒装句

倒装句式是最简单易行地使句子呈现亮点的方法。在高中阶段只需掌握倒装的四种形式, 足以应对书面表达, 分别是否定词、方位介词或副词、Only+状语、形容词+as/so+主语+系动词位于句首。按照人们的阅读习惯, 最先映入眼帘的是句子开头部分;按照人们的记忆规律, 最先最快记住的也是句子开头的部分。所以, 倒转句可以凸显位于句首的倒转部分, 使意义表达得更强烈, 更有感情色彩。

(1) 否定词

(2) 方位介词或副词

2. 强调句

“It is/was+被强调的部分+who/that”句型是最常见的强调句式。利用这种句型可以强调除谓语动词外的大多数句子成分, 所强调的可以是单词、短语, 也可以是从句, 但结构必须完整。在助动词前面加“do/did/does”也能表强调, 被强调的是谓语成分。这种句式除了强调句子中的某个成分外, 还能加强语气, 使句子更有渲染力。如:

1) “主—系—表” (SLP) 句型:

主语+连系动词+表语

说明:该句型一般被称为系表结构。由于连系动词所表达的意义不完整, 不能单独作谓语, 需和表语一起作谓语。

有的语法家把be后面的副词 (短语) 或介词短语视为状语, 从而形成了“主——动——状” (SVA) 这一在五种基本句型之外的句型 (见上面最后一个例句) 。

(2) “主—动” (SV) 句型:二.主语+不及物动词

说明:该句型中的谓语动词是不及物动词, 不及物动词后面不跟宾语, 但可跟状语。

This bread won’t keep (for a long time) .这种面包不好 (长期) 存放。

(3) “主—动—宾” (SVO) 句型:

说明:在这种句型中, 谓语动词为只带一个宾语的及物动词, 这种动词被称为单宾语及物动词 (Monotransiti ve Verb) , 如:

A.where B.whether C.that D.why (2012安徽高考英语单选题) 此题解题思路为首先考虑此句话是but连接的并列句, 在but后的句子里又包含一个主语从句, but_he reaches these limits will depend on his environment.此主语从句中, 主谓宾, 主语是he, 谓语是reaches, 宾语是these limits.句型结构为主谓宾结构, 结合句意及主语从句知识, 我们选不参与句子成分的却有一定意义的B.whether。

一、句型教学在初中英语教学中的重要性

初中英语的知识点纷乱繁杂,对词汇的解释也比较灵活,学生要想掌握好有一定困难。尤其是遇到长篇文章时,学生需要用很长的时间来整理出合理而清晰的思路,这样他们对文章整体的理解和把握也有困难。长此以往,学生心里就会产生厌倦感,不利于英语的学习。但是,从另一方面来看,如果学好了句型知识,就可以分辨出句子的结构并且更好地理解句中的词汇,使学生能更好地理解句子的含义,进而更好地从整体上把握文章的大意。

此外,把句型掌握好之后,对提高学生的学习效率也非常有帮助。一般情况下,如果能够了解句子的句型结构,就能把复杂的句型简单化。因此,教师应注重句型结构的知识点,尽量精讲和多练。众所周知,学好英语离不开大量的练习,尽管练习过程中会出现错误,但是教师只要及时地进行纠正就可以了,错误被纠正后反而更能加深学生对知识点的印象。例如,当学生不能区分出make of与make from含义时,可以用身边的桌子来具体讲解,纠正学生的错误理解。
